I suppose it’s ok. The staff is nice. Property feels safe. The upkeep is okay to bad. Kinda rough looking interior but it’s cheap to stay so I suppose you get what you pay for.

This hotel is beautiful, very well maintained, clean and modern. We were only here for one night and couldn’t spend much time exploring the area because we had to get on the road again the next day for a cross country camping trip. For anyone experiencing a longer stay or not in as much of a rush, the hotel is conveniently centered right beside Jordan Creek Town Center and a multitude of shops with anything you could possibly need or want for a camping trip nearby. There is even an REI nearby. We felt very safe here and if you we forgot anything, shopping for what we needed was minutes away from the hotel. The included breakfast buffet was top-notch - they go as far as to cook and serve some of the breakfast in Le Creuset cast iron - chef’s kiss! The only thing that could have been better is one of the two elevators was out of order, making the one working elevator a hot commodity and the wait to use it was very long in the morning when we had to leave (our belongings were in two large heavy duffels and unfortunately we didn’t have anything smaller due to the nature of our trip or else we would have just taken the stairs). I would highly recommend and will gladly book again next time we are in town.

The room and lobby were clean and attractive. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. There are 2 restaurants in the lobby so getting a good cup of coffee in the morning was quick and convenient. This is a very nice hotel in downtown Des Moines, not far from the airport.

Hotel was under construction and was difficult to get around. A lot of areas were dirty, including the pool area. The hot tub was out of service, which was unfortunate. Our room was in the cottages and the jetted tub wouldn’t hold water. Very disappointed.
