Overall it was an excellent stay. Clean facility, friendly staff everything worked as expected, comfortable furnishings, indoor pool, continental breakfast.... It had a two star rating on one of the sites google found but it was also priced very attractively. Being an upscale remodeling contractor I can always find niggling little details that could be improved like reversing the swing on the refrigerator door in the communal breakfast room, but why gripe?

Room was great except for the seal around the door. Granted the wind was blowing at around 25 mph from the northwest but the seal around the door was pretty bad which caused me to use things to stuff around the jamb and try to seal it out and it caused the heat unit to run constantly.

Small town nice motel/hotel

The room was updated & very nice. The outside (door/exterior) needs some paint to help it look nice like the room. Comfortable stay - would definitely stay again. If they offered breakfast I never knew it.

There were a couple of problems with the room but we were moved immediately with no issue. It was a very comfortable bed and a clean room. For the price it was great.

The room was clean. Only saw staff when checking in and was friendly. Parking was right in front of the room. It was easy to get stuff to room. Had stuff going on in the morning so no breakfast.

The room was reasonably clean and neat. Room smelled of stale smoke and freshener. Bath fan didn't work. Overall the property and room needs a good cleaning, resolving minor issues and much needed updating. Note: In Centerville, IA there are few options for hotels. Staff were also friendly.
