It was a great location for our needs and we appreciated the hospitality! It is an older house so not everyone's cup of tea but bed was comfortable, water pressure in shower excellent, and economical breakfast option appreciated.

Such a great property. The continental breakfast was delicious with homemade bread and lots of choices. I’d stay here again for sure. Great location.

Good little bed and breakfast, easy 20-30 min walk to sites to see and close to canal which is a beautiful walk to take. Staff are polite and welcoming. Depending on the room you are assigned the bathroom and toilet might be in the hallway near the room but are very clean easily accessible. Very close to dinning options about a 5 min walk away, very quiet area to stay.

The inn was good not great, and the breakfasts were disappointing--some hot food (other than toast) would have been good. I don't feel I got my money's worth.

I had a 10-day stay at the Rideau Inn, and was impressed by how well run it is. The room, bathroom and common areas were kept exceptionally clean, and you could see a great deal of care had gone into their arrangement - the provincial themes for each room are also a nice touch. Lucie the manager is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended overall!

The Rideau Inn is a beautiful historic home in downtown Ottawa. Lucie greeted us safely and professionally. All amenities were explained so we felt comfortable with everything. I would stay here again in a heartbeat

A sweet little B&B
This was a lovely little B&B. The service was excellent. The room was clean and a good size. The location was great. Many restaurants within a short walk. I would recommend this highly.

The staff were excellent combined with a beautiful Victorian home style B&B made my stay there truly enjoyable. Will certainly recommend this B&B to family, friends and colleagues considering staying in Ottawa.

Loved the quaint house. Only one room per floor was open during COVID so it was quiet and I had free roam of the shared amenities on the entire floor. My stay was as contactless as I would want it to be. The property is close to so many stores and restaurants/patios. Lucie was very helpful and quick to respond to any needs. I highly recommend this BnB.

The whole house is such a charming Ottawa home, operated by the wonderful Lucie who was so accommodating of our needs at check-in and check-out time. The room was clean and comfortable – including an air conditioning unit which we could control ourselves, a huge help as we were travelling at the end of a heat wave! Will definitely return on our next trip to Ottawa!

The Inn is very comfortable and charming, and well located: plenty of restaurants on Elgin St right around the corner, and a 15-20 minute walk to Parliament hill. WiFi is a bit slow, and breakfast is self-serve, a bit on the sad side.

Beautiful BnB right next to Elgin Ave. My only complaint was that the breakfast was a little lacking. Instead of Kraft Singles, how about some real cheese, and perhaps some pâté? Other than that, a perfect stay. Lucy very pleasant to deal with.

Lucie was a friendly face when we arrived and was hospitable and helpful eg helping wth travel and taxi bookings, directions to restaurants, landmarks etc. Location was excellent in pretty and quiet surroundings. Park over the road, saw my first live Racoon descend from the tree outside our room. It was conveniently close to eateries, bus stop - bus goes straight into the city. Breakfasts very good, plenty of food and nice selection.
