Dean and his friends are excellent guests, communicating about situation on newly replaced air conditioning and heating machine. The weather was extremely hot and it was about 33 degree. Normally it takes at least two days to cool down the suite. We hope it will be great for next upcoming guests. I am a fast walker and it takes me 30 mins to reach Byward market via bridge. Anyway, 5-10 driving distance is possible too. There are a plenty of 2-hour free parking spaces. Thank you Dean for your business.

Thank you Charles for providing this review. It was one of hottest day in history as Charles mentioned. The air conditioning unit has been back to normal immediately after the a/c contractor cleaned the filter which was partially blocked by the dust of recent garage renovation . In fact, Charles got some refunds as a result of the situation. He did mention on his text to me that the condo has an amazing view to Ottawa river and parliament of Canada - one is the utmost important historical and modern site. He also told me that condo is clean. The a/c situation was out of our control. I believe the continued improvement and corrective actions are keys to our vocational rental success. Also his family was expecting a motel, in which we explicitly describe on the VRBO website as high-rise condo. Good luck with Charles for his selected properties that hopefully met his expectations.

It is unfortunate that Julie had this experience. It was professionally cleaned. I believe that I have to talk to my cleaning lady and validate the situation. We will improve the cleaning standard. According to my cleaning lady, the bloom was washed and left dry at the balcony. The suite was cleaned and mopped throughout entire condo. Since there is no carpet in the suite, we do not need to use vacuum cleaner. We had accommodated 3 three guests from France and stayed in this suite for 6 months starting from January 1, 2021. Those were all we provided and the clients were happy. Julie only stayed for 5 days, one would not expect to clean too much. For the towels, I did give her options to phone me or retrieve from our storage room in the suite. However, she never communicated with me about towels, cleaning standard. I have to SAY that communication is a key in which she did it many times prior to her arrival, regarding her check-in and parking information. . The parking situation is to our dismay because indoor garage renovation was delayed. We supposed to get the indoor parking available on the first week of October. She arrived on October 11. However, I understand her frustration and I did provide a parking space which is 7-min walking distance. I did offer if she wanted to park at the parking lot, in which I was willing to cover her parking fee around the parking lot, which is 3-min away. Please keep in mind this is a downtown location. We do have 2-hour free parking around the building. Now, our own indoor parking garage is open in full capacity. For the cooking equipment, it is all wrapped with cleaning wraps. The baking oven is not new, one has to expect there is certain degree of wear and tear. By all means, we do appreciate Julie for her honest opinion for the kitchen cooking facilities, it really vary from one guest to another guest. She has a toddler, I would expect she needs more than regular traveller /guest. I will ask her for her input to facilitate someone liking the cooking when one is on vacation. I do like this feedback because it would help us to reflect and improve. In conclusion, I wish Julie could communicate with us during her stay so that we would certainly meet her need by providing vacuum cleaner. When she left and the condition was good except we found a toddler's diaper on our second bedroom. Overall, I really enjoyed to deal with Julie and her family, I hope that we will serve her better if they come again.

Thank you Angelique to provide us excellent review. It was a great to deal with this family. They are very clean and leave the suite better than they found. The view to the Ottawa river and parliament hill was the best feature for this suite, especially on Canada’s day or firework events.

Thank you Diane for your positive review. We have 3 three dinning chairs. Diane's family has 4 members. I thought they could lower one bar stool to become a dinning chair. In the current trend, the property owners are more creative to have furniture mixed and matched. It does not need to have 4v dinning chairs like traditional way. Thank you for your business. Thanks to Nadia and her gang (two couples) for booking with us. For $125 a day and only $40 for extra two guests (total is $160) is very reasonable comparing to staying in the hotel. They have cooking facilities and two separate rooms to sleep. Unfortunately it was 38 degree during the weekend of July 23. Even with our 4-year old forced-air Air-Conditioning and Heating unit, it was challenging to keep 1,200 square feet Condo very cool in this extreme hot weather condition (Usually we have 24-27 degree during summer in the past years, but it is extremely humid and hot this summer, thanks to the global warming). We will purchase a standing fan to circulate the air around the condo and we hope that it might help. However, the lack of functioning of A/C was due to not fully aware how to operate the A/C. I noticed that they did not adjust the temperature to 24 . I saw the reading was 29, also only in a mode of fan but not in cooling mode. Anyway, they should have had communicated with me and we would definitely add a fan. For the pillow cases, we have 6 pillows for 4 people, we thought it should be sufficient. Anyway, we will purchase two more pillows. In terms of towels, we placed some washed towels and some new towels just out of boxes. So far, we have not heard any complaint about the towels. The past guests always liked the quality and cleanness of the towels that they had been used. In any means, we will pay more attention in future. Thank you Sophie to provide your honest comments. I truly appreciate it. Yes, the internet connection has been fixed since date of your departure. Moreover, due to recent modern kitchen renovation completed in our condo, the granite counter is designed as kitchen dining table with stools. Initially, we did not want to cluster our living room with another set of dinning set. But I have bought another dining table with 3 chairs. Regarding pots, pans and other essential cooking facilities, we have bought them. Anyway for the items other than coffee, sugar, pepper and salt, we are very careful to provide these items because some guests may be allergic to some food items. Due to the liability issue on our part, we will not supply other items other than what we have already had.
