Cute property with everything you need for a few days. Very quiet area- no curb appeal, but you’re doing a short term stay so no worries! Close to any/everything you need for a fun getaway.

Very nice space for the price.
Property was mostly as described. Very cozy and cutely decorated. Well stocked. In close proximity to nice restaurants. Go to Deep Lagoon. Property is described as having hot tub and spa whirlpool which I did not see on the property. Host didn’t always respond in a timely manner to my communications, generally which I consider to be 3 hours for this type of site. Need more shelving for toiletries in bathroom. Really need better lighting at the property; was almost pitch black in area around property. Overall it’s a very nice space and reasonably priced.

You get what you pay for.
Price is fair for what you get. Limited area to set personal items out. Ad states there is a hot tub - There is not. Beach is 17 mins away driving. Bed is decent. Room and bathroom are clean (I'm super picky). Road behind house is loud from vehicles. Air-conditioning does help drown out but can still hear vehicles. Close to lots of food and stores. Host is kind and minds her business. We would come back.

Nothing where it said so misleading
On the vrbo website it said the beach was less than a mile away. It was 5 miles. This is a boarded up sun room on the back of someones house. The shower doesn't have a door so the bathroom floods. While we stayed the key did not work so we had to use a code that the owners also had. For two young girls traveling alone this was a major safety issue.

Our website does not state the beach is half a mile away. To help with cleanliness between every guest, we choose not to use a shower curtain and have a beautiful glass wall. Please review all the pictures. To receive accurate information about our comfy cozy studio.

The room was fine...a little humid b/c of window ac, but otherwise everything you need / expect away from home for a quick beach trip. No noise issues, and neighbors were quite polite.

No direction or address was given till day of arrival. Ac so loud you cant sleep or hear tv. Save door code given to each person who stays there so anyone can go in at anytime. Low water pressure in kitchen. Dirty paint brush n tray in freezer. No smoke detector. property is part of main house. It is not a stand alone unit or cottage.

Diane, we had not had a problem with the address for safe reasons you received a message before arriving. I do apologize for the paint brush. We just added central vacuum to help with the cleaning of the studio had to remove drywall and paint it. This is our busy time and we’re trying to work it in. As for the Ac unit it is mention on my website. In the future we will be replacing it with a mini split which will be better. The pictures show this is part of a house never mentioned a separate cottage. Although we are in the process of building one on our property and it will be around 750 sq feet. As for the keyless entry and lock it has been taken care of. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Safe travels

Inside studio was clean. The pictures of the outside looked better than it actually was in-person. Door lock didn’t work and beach chairs were old and umbrella broken. Owner did get another beach umbrella after we let her know. We did have to rent one for the first day at the beach.

Location is everything!
My mom and I stayed here during Mother’s Day weekend. We were traveling about an hour and some change away and the host was very accommodating to let us check in a little early. Fabiola was very responsive and helpful during our stay. The check in/out process was smooth. What we loved: the location is perfect! We frequented down town Sarasota and Siesta key during our stay, which was less than a 30 min drive. All of the food recommendations were on point! Including Pop’s and Spanish point, both within 10 minutes away. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The space is perfect for two and had everything we needed including plenty of chords to charge devices, towels, ect. We didn’t cook during our stay but it was a pleasant surprise to find pots, pans, and even an air fryer in the storage bench. Loved that there was coffee available; maybe throw in some tea bags as well 😊. What could be better: Fabiola was very helpful with figuring out how to lock/unlock the door, but even with her instructions it still takes a little finagling to get it right. I love the private entry but a little could go into the landscaping when you enter the premises. The location is very private but the door shade isn’t wide enough and leaves a significant gap on the sides, which can be uncomfortable when changing in the room. We had to put up a towel to get full coverage. I’m so glad they thought of having a mirror near the front door but would be even better to have a full length mirror to check your outfit before you leave. Lastly, with the layout of the shower a significant amount of water does end up on the floor of the bathroom. So we had to lay out towels on the floor to help soak up some of the water. All in all we loved our stay and would book this location again! The beach chairs were also clutch. Thank you Fabiola for helping me treat my mom to a great weekend. She loved it!

Tiny home getaway
Beautifully decorated double bedded room with efficiently organized tiny kitchen, living and dining area in a quiet family neighborhood. Plenty of storage. Private backyard deck, hot tub, grill, table and chairs for sunning, meals or rest. Nearby stream and tropical foliage whisper “Florida” and the visiting chickens entertain. Property owner very nearby and eager to assist as needed. Close to Venice and Nokomis beaches, I-95 and plenty of fabulous restaurants and shopping. Ideal for one or 2 people, probably not children. Highly recommended.

The property owner was nice. Her communication though was just too much. Repeatedly asking when I would be arriving. She also questioned my having a service dog, which I informed her would be with me when I made the reservation. The room is nice and clean, in a neighborhood. It was as advertised. Just the owner was too hyper.

Ok, but dissappointed
Entering the property, there was a red pick up truck and an ATV on a trailer, parked on the grass next to the drive. Luckily, the owner lived at the property where she was able to show us how to lock the door w a code, which we never received. The room was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The shower stall was pretty and clean w great water stream, but was only enclosed half way w glass, so water bouncing off your body( and my husband is big) sprays out onto the bathroom floor. The refrigerator was clean, but there were left over items in there along w other items in the overhead cabinet. The air conditioner was in the wall which was very loud and would go on and off all night, allowing us to only use the fan and none of the windows could be opened. Beach chairs were provided for the beach which was about a 15 min drive away…Nicomis, which is beautiful. Overall stay was good but we were never there except to sleep and luckily the evenings were cool. If it’s cleaned up a little, it could have great potential and it is in a very nice neighborhood. Fabiola, the owner was very pleasant.

Quiet retreat
Arrived late at night so was a little hard to find driveway in, but worked out. Was a nice private place to just chill which was what we needed. Nice location, easy to get in and out going to beaches ⛱ and such. Also nice to be only two blocks from Walmart to get supplies. We enjoyed our time. Could upgrade beach chairs 💺 🤔
