Hotel is located less than a 4 mins walk from exit 7 of Shinsaibashi station. Approximately 10 mins walk to Shinsaibashi street and Dotonburi about 15 mins away. However, did not rate 5 starts for this review as the carpet in the room we had was dirty upon check in. There was also no bottled water provided. Reception was fluent in english, and check in/out process was smooth.

Came to Osaka for Kyocera dome event. GREAT access to pretty much everywhere in Osaka. 10sec walk from Combini. Clean facility and kind staff.

I’ve stayed at other MyStay and this wasn’t the best. Location 10, staff 8, cleanliness 6. It smells like cigarettes everywhere in the floor I’ve stayed There’s no ramp to bring up your luggage from the street. Suuuper convenient location though, only reason I booked!

This hotel is located in a very convenient area, only few minutes from the train station and within walking distance to some tourist attractions. Service was good, front desk staff were helpful and very friendly. The only complaint I had about this place was concerning cleanliness. As I walked in, I felt and smelt an unpleasant stench. The room felt humid. When I woke up the second morning, I felt my throat in pain. I looked up at the walls above my bed and on two walls surrounding the bed were clumps of dust. I also noticed that the comforter under the comforter cover was covered in brown stains. I mentioned these things to the front desk and even though I opted out of paying for a cleaning fee, they were kind enough to clean the room for me. The dust was cleaned off, however, I still had to sleep with the dirty comforter. Third night, I was sitting in the bed and noticed a part of my body was very itchy. I noticed multiple red bug bites on one part of my body which may have been bed bugs. It was definitely from the room. I didn’t mention this to the clerks as I was leaving the next day. Overall, I’m not sure I’d stay here again.

The location is great. The room is small, old and dirty. Stains and smells everywhere in the hotel. Terrible experience.

The staff was extremely nice. However the room and the hallways into the room was absolutely disgusting. I know it was a cheap room but the level of uncleanness was BAD. First off the hotel has signs literally everywhere you turn saying no smoking but our room smelled like someone had been chainsmoking for years, as well as the smell of mold. Dust was EVERYWHERE, stains, grime, and what looked like lots of mold. Towels were stained. And one day when we were in the hallway to our room we saw the clean towels on the gross stained floors. I work at a hotel and for the room to be as bad as it is comes from years of very poor cleaning (like only making the beds and cleaning nothing else). If we hadn't already pre-paid we would have left. It was so so so gross but the worst part was the SMELL. I feel bad leaving such a bad review because the staff at checkin/checkout was very nice but I was just so uncomfortable and felt so ill staying in the room.

The location is convenient but there is a plight steps at the front of the building which might not be good if you are carrying heavy luggage. The building is also a bit old. While well-maintained, its age makes it appear less clean than it actually is.

Staffs were very friendly, made me feel welcomed. I was able to store my luggage prior to my check-in, and after i've checked out. The only dislike about this hotel is the smell. Even though my room was a non-smoking room, the room (especially bathroom) is filled with the cigarette smoke smell. I supposed its AC system across the entire hotel.

Good choice within walking distance to lots...
This hotel was perfect. The accommodation was comfortable and decent in size. They even offered me an upgrade which was nice. It was close to lots to do and to the Metro. I also appreciated them having umbrellas for guests to use. I would stay here again.

Cockroach found in the room
There are stairs at the entrance with no ramp for luggage. A cockroach was found in the room. Unacceptable! The staff at the front desk offered “I’m so sorry” as the only response.

I was one day late in checking-in for a 2 night stay, and they held the room for me. Room was spacious and clean, and very well equipped. Situated very near Dotunburi it was always very convenient.

Convenient location, value for money
Room has all the basic necessities plus more, kettle, slippers, toiletries, pajamas. Area beside hotel has many restaurants and mini marts. Shinsaibashi station is just a block away, quick access to train from/to airport.

It is HOTEL MYSTAYS SHINSAIBASHI. This time thank you for having you use our hotel. Because it becomes the distance of ten minutes by a subway at distance to Osaka-jo Castle from Shinsaibashi Station in a 2-minute walk, this hotel thinks that it is convenient for shopping and the sightseeing of the visitor.
