Explore a world-class selection of ski slopes above Ortisei, including the wide Val Gardena ski area, the rolling trails that extend from the Dolomiti Superski Dolomite Alps ski resort, the Alpe di Siusi and the exciting Sella Ronda circuit. Pick up your rental gear or purchase new equipment from the Ortisei ski shops. Start on the easy novice slopes or take on the wide-ranging intermediate descents. Book lessons or join a guided tour to enhance your experience of a variety of groomed runs and off-piste trails, connected by more than 80 ski lifts. Admire the beautiful scenery and the dramatic Dolomites piercing the winter sky. Enjoy fun-filled freestyle ski areas and terrain parks. Enjoy a leisurely ride on the area’s longest run, a 6.5-mile (10.5 kilometre) trail that connects the mountain station of Seceda to Ortisei below. After a day on the slopes, have a warming drink and traditional meal at après-ski pubs and restaurants. Authentic South-Tyrolean woodcarvings adorn the chalets and huts. Reach the slopes above Ortisei via the convenient Val Gardena base village ski bus.
