Located in Ormond-by-the Sea, a quiet residential neighborhood, the Crabby Shack is a short 10-minute drive from Daytona, "The World's Most Famous Beach."
If you are looking for a quiet place in the sun, the Crabby Shack is the perfect place to stay. It's within walking distance from the Halifax River, which has public access to kayaking and fishing, and Al Weeks Sr. Park, which offers free parking and direct access to the beach.
The home can accommodate up to six occupants. Two small pets (dogs 50 pounds and under and cats) with current shots are also allowed. There is an additional non-refundable $100 fee charged per pet.
The home is fully furnished and has completely stocked kitchen supplies (dishes, appliances, and utensils), bedding (pillows, sheets, and comforters), and towels (bath and beach). Beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a beach canopy, and a beach cart are also available for use. Bikes are available for rental.
This beach-themed home offers an open living room and dining room area. The spacious living room offers an L-shaped sectional sofa with ample seating, a large screen tv, a ceiling fan, and a coffee table that opens into a desk. The round dining room has seating for four.
The first bedroom offers a closet, futon, tv, and a coffee table that opens into a desk. This room is versatile serving as either a private home office area to work in or a kid’s playroom during the day, a place to gather and watch a family movie on TV in the evenings, and a bedroom at night.
The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and a newly installed sink, vanity, mirror, lights, and a storage shelf for toiletries.
The kitchen is fully equipped with large appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave), small appliances (a toaster, coffee maker, and a blender), dishes (cups, glasses, plates, bowls), utensils (forks, knives, spoons), bakeware (pots, pans, and baking dishes). It also has two rolling carts, which serve as a coffee bar and vegetable prep area.
The bedrooms are located in the back of the house and offer privacy. Both rooms are adjacent to a full bathroom with a toilet, shower, and a newly installed sink, vanity, mirror, and lights.
The master bedroom will charm you with its newly installed carpet, large screen tv, dresser, and a queen-sized bed with a padded headboard. Like the master bedroom, the second bedroom is equipped with a queen-sized bed with a padded headboard and dresser.
A separate laundry room is equipped with a washer, dryer, and storage shelves. It also has entrances to both the kitchen and garage, making it easy to bring groceries into the kitchen from the garage.
