Better Properties Out There
- Due to the layout of the house, the downstairs was dark, especially the kitchen area.
- It was generally well equipped, although we did have to buy new batteries for the TV & games consoles remotes, also ping pong balls and the net was broken.
- Despite it being able to sleep at least 6 adults there were only 4 sunbeds by the pool which in itself was small and due to the lack of space around all sides there wouldn't be room for more.
- The shower at the pool is totally redundant as it is inches behind the pool fencing
- The electric light switches were very concerning. Not only were there numerous switches which didn't seem to be connected, the switch in the front room glowed red behind it and got extremely hot. Others seemed to stick.
- There is no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes in the annex.
- When we arrived late on Monday evening there was no blind or curtains in the bedroom area of the annex (which is at the front, faces east and has a street light!). Additionally the light in the enclosed toilet in the main bath wasn't working. Despite emailing Jeeves 1st thing on Tuesday, we then had to ring and eventually go to the office on Wednesday before things were rectified on Thursday. This meant 3 nights trying to sleep with no blind.
- The resort is a lovely area and the "waterpark" - more like a pool with a lazy river and kids water playground - were very pleasant.
- Overall we'd prefer to go back to Windsor Hills or somewhere like that.
