« This place is amazing!! The property sits on a quiet gravel road, and the views of the water are beautiful. We saw loons, ducks, turtles and otters from the deck!The house has everything you would need and the hosts went above and beyond by providing kayaks, canoes and paddleboards, along with firewood and bottled water! Communication was amazing and everything exceeded our expectations.Amazing location, property, cabin, and hosts! Highly recommend!! »

« This is a charming, rustic property in a lovely setting and extremely quiet and peaceful! Our host Carol is wonderful, very thoughtful and helpful a truly lovely person! She shares great recommendations for hiking, fun places to get almost any kind of food you may be craving. This is not a fancy cottage, it's absolutely perfect for relaxing and is a perfect location for hiking and exploring. The stairs are very steep and the old fashioned claw foot tub with shower needs to be navigated...

« Had everything we needed for a family of 5. Views were nice for breakfast and sunset. Saw deer wondering through the back yard a couple of times. Heard the seals in the evening. Private. Most everything we did around Acadia was under 30 minutes from the house. Only negative in July is that the owners requested that air-conditioning be turned off when not home. Upstairs was 78-81 when we got back in the evenings. Took a while for the upstairs to cool back down for bed. Overall would stay again. »
