Secure backyard and easy access to Cook Park ideal for our little dog. Walking distance to some pet friendly venues made holiday easy. Would have liked a vacuum cleaner to make tidying up leaves and blossoms after walks not such a chore. Loved this cottage.

Great location

Perfect location, clean and tidy. Very happy. Was given wrong combination for key locker, but fixed after two calls. One mattress needs changing due to age / sag. Overall very happy. Nice outdoor area with near new BBQ. Had our dog with us. She gave it two paws up.

Rooms were clean, front bedroom bed mattress was sagging in the middle, difficult to get much sleep. Many of the windows are fixed shut. There were no coat hangers.

Rundown but functional

We were looking for a short stay which could cater to having our pet dog with us. It was very small but adequate for our needs. It is not a dwelling in which you would want to spend any time but it serves as a launchpad to getting out and about. Whilst Is has 2 bedrooms, the second one backs right onto the lounge room. If anyone is staying up watching tv, whoever is in the second room will not be getting to sleep easily. The place is very old and rundown but it is clean and functional. The one thing that really needs to be addressed is the mattress in the front room which is old and dips in the middle. I don’t know if the base is also part of the problem. We did not sleep at all well. If there is only one thing the owners are willing to spend on, it should be this. The location is right next to a lovely park. It is a long walk into the main part of Orange but parking is pretty easy if you’re inclined to drive.

Good but needs some maintenance

Good property in a great location. Needs some maintenance tho. Missing curtains, mouse droppings in the kitchen cupboards. Looks better in the photos than reality

Cute and comfortable cottage in a lovely area of town

The cottage was clean and comfortable, in a very convenient location in a nice, quiet street. Very close to Cook Park (a 2 minute walk!) and within walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay again. Our only gripe - we’d recommend that the host gets some more crockery and glassware in the kitchen. In a cottage that sleeps 4 there wasn’t even enough for 2 people - we had to eat our takeaway Spilt Milk ice cream out of a mug!

Constructive feedback

Cute looking cottage great location however property interior is in very poor condition, obviously it hasn’t had any TLC for some time. Just to name a few….Security was inadequate as Front door has 2 locks which must be for a reason however only one works? Mattresses need replacing, tapware old and difficult to turn on/off. Curtains rod in front bedroom fallen off so unable to have privacy without lowering blinds.

Property was clean and tidy, bedding configuration is not accurate though, neither room has a QS bed, both rooms are double beds only, best to fix that oversight.
