A organic permaculture garden with a flock of Indian Runner Ducks and Chinese Silkie Chickens ( no rooster!!) minutes from a glorious beach with a view of Mt Taranaki. Wild bird life fills the gardens with song. Surf, climb the maunga or explore the Opunake Loop Trail then luxuriate under the stars in the outdoor bath. Handy to everything but secluded. In the romantic sleeping pod you will drift to sleep hearing the call of the ocean. Perfect tranquil place to rest and restore. Easy walking distance to town and the beach. Having a bath under the stars is magic! The hosts Rob and Viv were lovely. Although the cottage is on the hosts section, it is very private.
