The Grote Geere farm, with its monumental barn, has undergone various changes / adjustments since 1670. The former farm (with a bakkeet, wagon house and pig house) was rebuilt for you into a holiday home and apartment complex on the basis of original drawings. All accommodations are furnished with antibacterial materials. Attempts have been made to build as sustainably as possible.

The Grote Geere is best described by luxury, comfort, free location in the landscape and yet easily accessible. A great base for beach and forest, the picturesque town of Veere, the cozy Domburg or the beautiful city of Middelburg.

Accommodation
Celebrate holidays in luxury and comfort. On the ground floor is a cozy L-shaped living room with open kitchen, equipped with all conveniences, such as dishwasher, oven, microwave, filter coffee machine and, Nespresso. Downstairs is a bedroom with two box-spring beds, a washbasin and a shower. The toilet is directly opposite the bedroom in the hallway. The second bedroom, also with two box spring beds, has a seating area on the first floor. There is also a spacious bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower with sun shower and bathtub. Relax in the sauna after a strenuous day. This offers space for four people and is equipped with an infrared lamp. All sleeping places have box-spring beds. There is no floor covering or heating with blowing fans. All (furniture) fabric in the home is anti-bacterial.

Complex
There are luxury apartments in the former real Zeeland barn. There are 4-person apartments realized in addition to a wheelchair-accessible apartment that is suitable for 6 people. In every apartment there is the possibility to add a cot. There is also an outbuilding with annex where a separate room with washing machine and dryer is available. The Grote Geere has a shared playground and private parking. In addition, each apartment has its own entrance and terrace. There is also a central, multi-functional group room that can be used to meet each other, play games, hold meetings or celebrate a festive occasion.

Surroundings
Oostkapelle is one of the larger centers of the municipality of Veere and owes its name to a chapel that must have been here in ancient times. Oostkapelle borders two beautiful nature areas between Domburg and Vrouwenpolder: the Manteling (740 ha), a wide strip of land with dunes and forests and the Oranjezon dune area (400 ha. There are also the country estates and the impressive Westhove Castle. The former orangery, Terra Maris, a museum for nature and landscape, is only 750 meters from the beach and has a 2.5-hectare landscaped garden, a museum café and a museum shop.

The Rescue brigade with a first aid post is available from May to September.
