Leider sind wir als letzte Gäste zum Frühstück und hatten damit zB beim Obst keine Chance. Der Pool ist toll. Es gibt viele Parkplätze. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Nebendran gab es gutes Abendessen. In der Nacht gab es zudem nebenan eine 'Party', direkt vor unserem Fenster, die bis mindestens 01:00 Uhr nachts ging.

Das Resort hat einen großen Garten und Poolbereich, viele Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten, die Zimmer sind sauber, die Betten bequem.

Super relaxing stay at Omaruru Guesthouse

Friendly and helpful personnel. Neat and clean room & bathroom, everything in good order; lovely shower!!!! As for the breakfast we would highly recommend the omelets! However we had a problem on entering the first time at main gate as the bell did not work. Fortunately the telephone number is mentioned on sign board at gate! Very secure on-site parking! Would have appreciated fine mesh wire at the bathroom window as well for better fresh air ventilation (& still no mosquitoes!). Otherwise super stay, very relaxing! Ursula

Uitstekend hotel, weinig te doen in omgeving

Guesthouse is foute naam. Het is een keurig hotel. Super-vriendelijke en competente service. Ze bellen rond en regelen alles voor u. Dorp ligt aan rivier dus veel ongedierte, niet in hotel, maar wel in naburig restaurant (guesthouse serveert uitstekend ontbijt maar heeft verder geen restaurant). Ideaal voor korte stop-over maar verder niets te zien of te doen in de omgeving (op Erongo-wijnboerderij na dan).

Charming

The staff at this guest house really made this place wonderful. They were kind, honest, and good hearted local people who took the time to answer any questions we could think of. A huge thank you to both Brenda and Anita for giving us warm insight on local life, customs, and all the things usually missed when staying at a fancy resort. The owner if the facility was also very personable and provided great insight about things to do and see while staying in the area as well as local road conditions. The guesthouse is safe and clean. They have onsite security and monitored parking. The courtyard offers a nice place to relax and have a drink after a long drive, or have a swim in the pool. The rooms have private baths with good hot showers. The bed was a little more firm than what I am accustomed, but I slept great every night! A good night sleep followed with a good breakfast of fresh eggs, bacon, fruit, meat, cheese, yogurt, muesli, and toast. It is charming, quiet, and friendly. All great things in my opinion!

Great value

The grounds of the guest house were lovely with quirky touches and a nice pool area. The staff were all helpful and we enjoyed the simple breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable but a bit shabby with inadequate toiletries. It was overall great value for the price. Great value for the price.

Hatten 2 Nächte gebucht, sind aber nach einer schon abgereist. Das lag aber nicht am Hotel sondern an der Umgebung, die touristisch nicht viel zu bieten hat.
