An enjoyable stay. Hotel was very quiet - I was the only one in the restaurant. Shower was not great (in a bath, difficult to stand/balance).

During Corona Virus period, they are cleaning room each 3 days. Buffet is not very fresh, they recycle the food on weekends, when they don't offer buffet.

My stay in Olomouc
A great stay in the hotel. Nicely located near both bus and train stations and either short tram ride or walk into the old town. Room great value for money and all you need for a few nights. Breakfast is ok. Overall great stay would go back !

Very good location, 2 minutes walk from the central train station. Very good facilities, clean room and bathroom. I really liked that they had an ironing board and iron in the closet. Very convenient. Water boiler and full minibar were also a plus. Breakfast was good and sufficient.

One day in Olomouc
Reception staff were very welcoming, polite efficient and helpful. The hotel was very comfortable and quiet and the room (we had a bedroom and separate sitting area) was very good quality and a good size, and we had a good breakfast in the morning. The hotel is opposite the train station and on the edge of the centre.(about a 10 minute walk). We only stayed 1 night so cannot say any more but we will likely return for a longer stay ijn the future.

Wonderful experience! The hotel was in the perfect location for what we needed! It was clean, modern, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had delicious food also! One of the staff recommended an authentic Czech food restaurant behind the hotel that we went to, and it was also delicious! I highly recommend this hotel :)

Parking near room price !!!!!
I was asked to pay 60 Euro for just one night parking, what was near the room price. I think it's absolutely ridiculous . On top of that they have troubles to find my reservation in the system. The nice lady in the reception desk apologized and explained her college forgot to do it. But anyway I don't understand 60 Euro parking price.

Convenient hotel in Olomouc
Stayed for just one night, but can definitely recommend this hotel. It's right across from the train station, and walking distance into the center of town, or a short tram ride. The staff was pleasant and efficient, the room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. There's nothing special about the design or anything, but for the price, the comfort, the cleanliness and location, this hotel is just about perfect.

A great hotel, nice and new, everything working. 3 things concern me though - 1) Service in the restaurant sloppy, could be better. 2) Pillows too soft, no choice for anything firmer 3) Like most other hotels advertsing double rooms, it's not with a double bed - merely two singles pushed together. I wish hotels would stop doing this.

So Much Better Than Expected
I have visited Olomouc several times in the past 20 years. This hotel was amazingly clean, bright, modern and centrally located. We had three rooms, and one had a stained couch, but that was obviously from a careless guest. Our suites were comfortable, reasonably priced for family travel, and a pleasure to be in. I will stay here the next time I come to Olomouc. No doubt.

Pleasant Hotel
The Clarion is an overall pleasant hotel with good service. The breakfast that they provide is extensive and the hotel is very convenient to the hlavni nadarzi. It is a bit of a way from the old town and the sights, so if you are in Olomouc for sightseeing, this might not be the ideal choice.

Our first visit since Clarion modernised the old hotel. Pity the breakfast area is so vast for conference purposes and the buffet is all self service. No offer of omelettes although the ingredients were on display and no decaffeinated coffee (or in room which is now equipped with kettle etc).

For the second time we have enjoyed the friendliest staff, the cleanest of rooms and the newness of this hotel. You can't beat the location, right across from the train station, wow! If we return to Olomouc again, we will be in the Clarion Congress again!

The NEw Sigma
We came to Olomouc with a group of summer abroad students. The Clarion hotel is a much upgraded version of a previous hotel named Sigma. It is new, clean and modern. The hotel is just opposite the train station and about 25 minutes walk or four tram stops from the upper and lower squares (the old center of Olomouc). The staff spoke English and was helpful. For a price of 73 dollars per night including a wholesome breakfast, the hotel offers value. The only issue we had was that one day the room service took the soaps from the previous day but did not leave new ones... We called the reception and somebody came to the room 5 minutes later with the soaps. Olomnouc is a gem of a baroque town that many tourists miss despite the new train line from Prague that is just over 2 hours away. Highly recommended.
