"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hostess was warm and friendly and very accommodating, breakfast was fantastic. I stayed in the green room, and although had a "shared bathroom", I had it all to myself and felt very comfortable. I enjoyed hanging out in Woodstock - checking out the Kaaterskill waterfall and Platte Clove waterfall, shopping around town, having a beer with the locals. I had dinner right across the street at Alba's Kitchen - convenient and tasty. Great stay! Highly recommend this...

"Quite by design and they were telling the truth! If you’re looking for a retreat (especially couples) and you enjoy peace and quiet then this is the place for you. We loved every moment of it from easy check-in via code to the modern design of the king suite and comfort to all the amenities in the common area (snacks, coffee, soft bevs, games) provided. Also just a 5 minute drive to Woodstock this is a haven for r&r. We hope to be back again soon!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely place. It is clean, fresh, and designed and built by the host, an artist, with care. Great attention has been paid to every detail. Wonderful art on the walls. Loved the electric stove that kept us toasty on a cold and rainy night in May. Highly recommend, and hope to return!"

Stylish Mountain House with Reservoir Views, Near Woodstock

"The home was lovely and the view was absolutely stunning. You get this view from all but 1 room. I rated at mid point because the primary rooms bathroom has 0 curtains. Which for the first day seemed fine, until I could see our neighbors walking about. After that we concluded that, yes they can see into the very back of the bathroom, even the toilet. I was very disenchanted at that point. As for the hot tub, the water never got beyond tepid and had issues that needed calls and effort to get back online. The basement, is a basement, it was very humid with that basement smell. But I didn't remove stars for that, just a note for anyone wanting to have people sleep down there. The jack and Jill bathroom door did not open all the way. So we had some issues there as well, but again more of a petty grievance. If the bathroom wasn't a peep show I probably wouldn't have left this long of a review tbh. But I think these are mostly easy fixes and with that the place would be a wonderful spring get away."

Relaxing Catskill Mountain Cottage.

"What a gem. A friend and I were looking for a peaceful getaway for a few days with our dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We explored Woodstock and Phoenicia, everything is a 20 minute drive away. Spending the morning drinking coffee on the deck was our favorite part of the house. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. We had an issue with the WiFi and the host responded immediately and resolved the issue. Will definitely bookmark this house to come back. "

"Our stay at The Leeway was excellent. Our communication with Tena was great! This made for a seemless self check in and easy texting throughout our short stay. The grounds are beautiful and we espcially enjoyed the creekside oasis just a short walk from our door step. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and well supplied with several amenities to ensure a comfortable stay: toiletries, coffee, tea, glassware and refridgerated filtered water pitcher. Highly recommend The Leeway!"
