« The location is excellent with 1 minute walk to the beach and access to the private beach. The apartment was as described but we had a 3 night stay and were not provided with enough towels or k cups for two people and 3 nights 4 days. My biggest gripe is that I was never provided with the unit number, only the key pad code. This was a major headache and inconvenience upon arrival. « Awesome stay and perfect location for our off season weekend exploring Mystic aquarium and Essex steam trains. Hosts were very easy to reach and helpful. Across from beach, but you can’t actually access until you get to public beach .5 miles away, which was fine but unexpected. Also a couple amenities weren’t perfect, but totally would not affect my decision to rent here again. Very clean and updated! Loved it! »

« Adam, the owner was very responsive until we got there, and then decided not to stay because the room was really smaller than we imagined. There is barely enough room to get around the bed. I had asked, if possible, for some sort of a partial refund, but haven't heard anything back as of yet. The room was clean and in well-kept condition, but not nearly as comfortable as the pictures depict. Anyway, it was an expensive lesson for my further travels using VRBO as I would only consider a place...

« We had a very nice stay at Roger’s Lake! The house was so cool! It had all the amenities we needed and the location was charming and peaceful. In particular, the beds are really comfortable! They have this awesome exercise room where you can stretch out and enjoy the light. The host, Peter, was especially easy to work with and was very communicative. My family and I are hoping to come back soon for another stay. »
