Schon bei der Ankunft die erste große Enttäuschung bevor ich das Zelt betreten habe. Von der Terrasse aus sah man nur Kühe. Selbst nachts hörte man die Kuhglocken und die Laute der Kuh. Man benötigt eine Bootsfahrt von 30 Minuten, die auch vor 6:15 Uhr nicht startet, um zum Game Drive zu kommen. Bis dahin nur Kühr und Pferde. Gut im Wasser befanden sich dann auch Hippos. Aber eine Lage mit Blick auf eine Kuhwiese für 1100 € die Nacht hätte schon für 1 Stern gereicht. Aber es sollte noch viel schlimmer kommen. Als wir das Zelt betraten, kein Mückenschutz (sollen die Spinnen erledigen, laut Besitzerin), etliche Lücken. Auch der Umzug ins Chalet war nicht besser. der Mückenschutz vorm Fenster voller Löcher. Wir reden hier von ein Überschwemmungsgebiet, wo Malaria und Mücken stark verbreitet sind. Provisorisch hat man uns dann zur zweiten Nacht einen Mückenschutz über das Bett gemacht, wie man es aus der Jugendherberge kennt. Der Swimmingpool, wie die ganze Anlage total verschmutz. Echsen lagen dort tagelang Tod drin rum. Ach ja es gab da noch eine kleine Ziege, der man zuschauen konnte, wie diese auf die Stühle pinkelte. Unser erstes Gamedrive startete auch mit ein Defekt am Boot, so dass wir erst um 8:30 Uhr starten konnten, wo die Tiere wegen der Hitze inaktiv werden. Sicherlich wird es nie gewartet.
