I highly recommend this property. The apartment was clean, very spacious, with all the amenities needed. The infinity pool was amazing. The location is great with fabulous views. The Kudu bar down the road has great food. All in all a wonderful place to stay. We were a family of four and had a great stay, very relaxing and peaceful, out of the way but also close enough to Marbella, Fuengirola, Mijas and Cabopino beach.

Paradise!
We (two couples in their 60s - 80s) spent 5 weeks in the dead of winter in La Mairena and we couldn't have picked a better place. The apartment is very spacious (the photos don't do it justice - it is much nicer), with a very-well equipped kitchen, great outdoor space, very comfortable bedroom suites, all lovingly decorated - you can tell that the owners enjoy this place and spend time there. The location is a bit off the beaten path (which is what we wanted) and offers great views and a feeling of serenity, which we really enjoyed. Wonderful beaches are only about a 10-minute drive away (miles to walk along) and shops and restaurants are on the way. Interesting places such as Malaga, Granada (with the Alhambra), Ronda (the oldest bull ring in Spain), Jerez, or Cadiz are within 2-hour drives. The communication with Michel was easy, and Jackie and Andres were attentive and extremely helpful. We will definitely return!

Amazing mountainside home with STUNNING view!
It was all we hoped for and more for a 3 week vacation to meet up with our kids' (11 and 7 yo) grandparents. Only an hour drive from Malaga Airport, 1.5 hrs to Gibraltar and 2 hrs to Alhambra, we had everything within easy driving distance. There's 4-5 beach places just at the bottom of the mountain in Elviria, groceries, waterparks, adventure/ropes course parks and more on every side. Most importantly, Jacky (and Michel) were very welcoming and helpful. The photos and description don't do the place justice- it is a fully-outfitted vacation home the owners clearly use themselves as it's very very well taken care of and provisioned. And, as the title suggests, one of the best views from the main (yes, there's several!) balcony you will ever see. Loved it- vacation of a lifetime!

Very nice spacious penthouse with large terraces
Property is excellent (and as described) and very well equipped. Arrival and departure was very well organised locally by Jacques and instructions we received beforehand from Michel and Anne were spot on. 5 Wochen Winter Golfferien mit Freunden
Das Appartement befindet sich in einer gesicherten Anlage, die Umgebung und der Ort La Mairena liegen abseits vom Trubel in der Nähe der Berge und Natur. Ein Auto ist nötig um über die kurvenreichen Straßen zu diesem Ort zu gelangen. Nächstgrößere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet Elviria (ca. 15`mit dem Auto) wo sich div. Restaurants und Einkaufsläden befinden. Im Ort selbst ist das Restaurant Kudu und El Soto zu empfehlen (ca. 5-10`per Auto). Die Lage war für uns Golfer ideal, es hat über 10 Golfplätze innerhalb von 30`. Das Appartement ist sehr gut ausgerüstet v.a. die Küche. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Duschen gross genug mit zusätzl. Regenbrause. Der Ausblick vom Wohnzimmer und der Küche in die Berge und aufs Meer sind grandios. Die Terrasse und das Solarium konnten wir aufgrund des ungewöhnlich kalten Wetters leider nur wenige Male nutzen. Die Kommunikation und Betreuung mit dem Vermieter sowie Andres und Jacky vor Ort war ausgezeichnet, wir fühlten uns rundum gut betreut; nochmals vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an Alle. Wir können das Appartement mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Superbe appartement et tout confort vaste lumineux et surtout le must c est la vue de la terrasse et de la chambre parentale vraiment je ne m en lassais pas .Le propriétaire Michel est d une gentille et est très compréhensible et à notre écoute. Un grand merci à Jackie toujours disponible à n importe quel heure et rapide et efficace en cas de besoin. L appartement contenant également tous ce dont nous pourrions avoir besoin pour cuisiner et ainsi que tout pour le ménage. La literie très grande et très confortable. Vraiment un magnifique appartement. Nous y retourneront.

Superbement spacieux et calme
Nous venons de passer 3 semaines dans ce bel appartement très bien équipé, avec une terrasse magnifique donnant sur la montagne et la mer. La cuisine ouverte sur salon donne de la convivialité à cette immense pièce à vivre. Sans parler des 3 chambres, toutes équipées de salle de bain et terrasse. Les 2 piscines sont magnifiques, avec peu de monde. Nous avons aussi très bien accueillis par nos hôtes, toujours à l'ėcoute et bien sûr, Jacky, sur place, qui a bien préparé notre arrivée et notre séjour. La qualité des prestations de cet appartement est digne d'un hôtel 5 étoiles. Vraiment, je n' y trouve aucun defaut!! Il est à 10 minutes de la plage, 8 minutes du supermarché et 20 de Marbella. Bref, nous avons passé de très belles vacances avec nos grands enfants dans ce magnifique endroit.
