What a wonderful little hotel in the heart of Ogden! This is within a very short walk to many restaurants and the staff is very friendly! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Sadly Misrepresented
The gentlemen at the front desk was awesome. Everything not so much. No breakfast which was one of the reasons it was chosen. The door that was supposed to be locked at all times was not at all. Very misrepresented on hotel.com!!!

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in!
Worst hotel we have ever stayed in! Seedy part of town, frayed carpet around entire room, very stained carpet. Lumpy bed and pillows, only decaf coffee and no coffee cups. Went to registration and they said they were out. Man next to us said he didn’t even have a coffee maker in his room. No breakfast was provided. We have stayed in other hotels and they spell out on their web if none is provided per covid, but generally give a breakfast to go. This one didn’t say anything, just had a sign up at check in stating no breakfast. Doors did not require a key in enter off of back alley.

Dirty room and sheets
The service was fine, but the room we stayed in was dirty and did not even smell clean. The sheets had stains on them so we threw most of them in the floor just to sleep. It was one of the more disgusting hotel rooms I’ve been in. The reviews were typically good for this hotel which is part of the reason we chose it, but I will definitely not stay here again.

Decent for the price
This is an older hotel and so don’t expect anything fancy. The carpet needs replacing and the bathroom fan was very noisy. HOWEVER, overall it was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The pillows weren’t that great but they were doable. The shower head was better than my shower at home so that was nice. It was a decent place to stay for the price. Some people in other reviews complained about it being in a bad neighborhood and drug deals. We didn’t see any of that. The neighborhood seemed fine. It’s on the main drag so it was easy to get to and close to everything we wanted. The pool is amazing. It’s nice and. If and has plenty of room for sitting on the side if you want to take the kiddos swimming but not get in the water yourself. Overall a decent place.

No one at desk for almost 10 minutes, then an unhappy woman,,, she couldn't check me in so she left to get the manager,,, then a nice young man checked me in. He Insisted on charging my card $100 in case I smoked, I Don't, Never had that happen before, said it would be refunded in 3-5 days if i didn't have extra charges???Premise was dirty, filthy, lots of garbage in parking lot. Room was in bad condition, furniture was old and had holes where TV used to be, could not turn off lights with switch, had to unplug lamps. Carpet was pretty discusting, stiff,,, The name Clarion used to mean quality,,, Not anymore!!!

The hotel was located in a very bad area. The hotel and room was very dirty and old. The card reader on the back door was broken, so the doors were open to anyone 24 hours a day, providing very poor security. There were several unsavory characters loitering in the parking lot and drinking alcohol, among other activities.

Poor experience
Hotel room floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. Horrible odor due to it being a smoking room in the past. Bed was very uncomfortable (hard) so I didn't sleep well and the bed cover had stains on it. The front desk person was flustered and complaining about the owners in terms of how they schedule the rooms. He claimed at first there were no rooms available and had to call the boss. There was no maid service and breakfast available even though that is what was advertised when I reserved the room. I reserved a King and instead was given a smaller bed. Overall, it was not a good experience and I will not be returning.

It appears the hotel is possibly being renovated, as the lobby and a few areas appear updated, but our room was DEFINITELY not. There were giant cracks/water damage in the ceiling, the bathroom ceiling was so low I could barely stand in the shower without hitting it. The bathroom door in our room would not close at all, unless we threw our shoulder into it hard and even then, it would only partially close at best. There was a lot of traffic in and out at late hours and the doors on the side of the hotel did not lock in any way to discourage it, and my guess is they were not guests of the establishment based on the frequency and duration of their visits. The room we were first given had the door open and a fan blowing out the door when we got there, so we were reassigned the room I described above. Needless to say, I would absolutely not stay there again. It was dirty and in need of serious upkeep and maintenance.

I didn't like anything about this filthy dump that isn't even fit for a pig. I liked absolutely nothing about our stay at this dump. This place is the ultimate sh_t hole. I have spent a lot of nights away from home in hotels and motels and this particular place was the worst ever. No elevator for the handicapped people. The carpets looked like they haven't been cleaned in the last decade. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea by now.

Dont stay here!!
Hotel was sketchy from the driveway forward. Alleged drug deal going on at the hotel side entry. Both rooms smelled like smoke. I did not feel secure or safe to leave my vehicle in the parking lot. Dont believe the pictures of the hotel...these were taken either at the grand opening, 40 years ago, or they used a 'clean up' feature on the digital camera. Run away...

The reviews do not do this enough justice. The place looks like they DON'T clean it. They change the sheets and even those have holes in them, and have different issues. The bathtub still had other people's hair on the walls, and the tiles were peeling. The room smelled of cigarettes, and it was just overall not cleaned with stains on the wall, and carpets and etc.

Hard to understand workers. Check in was rude. They requested a $100.00 deposit on check in. This was a surprise and nor a good one. Furniature was dirty and torn. The location was run down. Carpet was dirty.

Don't go here. We canceled. They are hiding something. Very scary place. Days Inn, but gave me a Ramada card. They have a sign that says "NO HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE". The dirt and grime was overwhelming. Hair in one bed, stains in the other bed. Broken glass window. Another couple canceled at same time as us.

Walked into the lobby had a foul odor. Was staying 8 days the guy at the front desk said they clean every 3rd day. The site said it had complimentary breakfast. They had nothing. Tried to call the desk for clean towels. Wouldn't answer. It was the worst place I've ever been in.

The manager was compmetly rude. He barged into our room at noon yelling at us and telling us to leave. He said We didnt oay for asecond night . We had payed for a second night when we arrived and he apparently didn't get the memo. I will never stay there again and will write scathing reviews. Overall ok for a quick stay. No breakfast like mentioned and there were hidden fees when we checked in. Pool is nice. Rooms are basic…have fridge but no trash cans. Sheets had a burn hole from cigarette although it’s a no. Smoking hotel…strange! Cockroaches on railings through hallways and dresser knobs falling off.

Avoid at all costs
Entire property run down. Photos are stock photos, not accurate at all. Everything is super dirty, even mirrors are stained and discolored. Carpet looks 20 years old. Had to walk past a shirtless man with his hand down his pants. Everything else in the area was sold out, or we would have left. Felt more like a rent by the your place. Should not be on this site.

WORST hotel EVER!! Absolutely filty, unsanitary unfit FOR GUEST. scary area!! Homelss and drug addicts in the hotel and in the back parking lot. Room was not vacuumed goat thorns on the floor, boogers on the wall. Mold on the ceiling by the a/c. Filth everywhere. So nasty!!manager did not even raise an eyebrow when i complained simple sad thank you have a nice day repeatedly not interested in my very valid complaint!! So upset will never stay here againand i will advise no one to choose this property

Avoid this place it's not clean. There are drug addicts, tweekers, homeless and crooks hanging all around the property. I found syringes in my room drawer. They got mad at me cause I did not report it when I found them at 11pm(front desk closed) but I did report it the next morning and was told; you know all people are different. No breakfast is available but they advertise it is?? They say they follow advanced cleaning standards but there's overflowing trash cans, dirty stairwells, nasty stained OLD lumpy pillows, dirty floors and don't forget the syringes. No housekeeping is available (so call it a Hostle) The lock on my room was loose so each nite I barricaded myself in it pushing furniture against the door. And everyday I prayed my car would not be broken into. I felt safer in Iraq during the war than here. Avoid this place,

The days in hotel was in a really bad shape. The room smelt of mildew and smoke. The air coming out of the AC smelled so bad that i kept it off. They had old broken down cars in the back of the parking lot. I did not feel safe leaving my car outside over night. I ended up not staying there and found another hotel. Was not able to get my money back after check in. Please take my advise and pass on the one. Pay the extra money and book some place else.
