Best Western Plus High Country Inn

"What a wonderful place! Absolutely beautiful! It has great accommodations for dogs. The rooms are very old school, dated but nice. The only issues I had were the mattress was a bit worn out, and I couldn't locate a microwave to heat my dogs food that I had been keeping in the cooler as we traveled. Those were small issues for me. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I try and stay here any time my travels bring me this way."

"What a wonderful and scenic stay! We had a lodge room with a beautiful view of the back lawn and surroundings bordering the creek. The staff was friendly, help and accommodating. The delicious cooked to order and delivered to the room hot breakfast was a cut above. The only quirk was Expedia's contact phone number for information does not go to the Inn but to a number with a full mailbox that won't answer or take a message. I highly recommend the Alaskan Inn and it's beautiful surroundings."
