Sea of Tranquility Cottage - E6 at North Coast Village E6 Cottage is a beautifully remodeled condo located on the upper level of North Coast Village’s most peaceful and quiet cottage area. It’s the perfect place to escape and find your “Sea of Tranquility.” From the balcony, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the ocean, harbor, and river. Just take the stairs down to ground level and you’ll be right on the beach. (Stairs are required to access this property.) Inside, you’ll feel like you’re in a spa with the new wood-look tile entry floor and bathroom. The living room has a cozy sofa bed with a deep mattress and a matching love seat. A sparkling glass-tiled fireplace adds a warm touch, and above it is a big flat-screen Smart TV. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need, including dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans, a coffee maker, and more. The dining table seats four. The bedroom has a king-size bed with luxurious bedding, a chair, and a TV. When you step out on the balcony, you’ll find your perfect spot. You’ll want to spend hours relaxing and enjoying the view, sound, and smell of the ocean, harbor, jetty, and river. Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet. North Coast Village is an oceanfront tropical paradise located between the Oceanside Harbor and the Oceanside Pier, and is a favorite destination for people from around the world. You'll enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, tropical foliage, flowers, streams, walkways, Koi ponds, two heated pools and spas, putting green, exercise rooms, saunas, and recreation rooms with table tennis, billiards and foosball. The complex consists of nine 4-story buildings surrounded by 2-story cottages, on several acres of lushly landscaped tropical grounds. You are just steps from the sand; there are no roads to cross - this is an OCEANFRONT COMPLEX! Swim in the sparkling heated pool (one of two pools and spas), or enjoy a romantic walk on the beach. North Coast Village offers a fitness center with sauna, and a barbecue area overlooking the pool. You will also find reserved garage parking, cable television, a recreation center, a clubhouse with kitchen, massive stone fireplace and cedar walls, as well as laundry facilities in the building. Upon arrival there was a note taped to the door that there would be no power from 8am -7 pm on a day of our stay… a little disappointed but understood the reasoning but then on the same day maintenance was glazing the bricks so we were asked not to walk on them the only way out of the unit is to walk on them so another inconvenience. The next day we went out for lunch and when we arrived back in the garage to work someone was parked in my assigned spot. I called the number and the gentleman was less then helpful just said security would be over to investigate… at that point I decided to see if the car had a tag on the dash and it did stating it was a vendor working in E12 so I called the less than pleasant security # back lll ##### Kristine S. My only negative and it doesnt merit a lower rating is that while they had all the dishes and appliances which was fantastic, there was no coffee for the coffee machine (Ive always have the small ones at the bnbs in the past) and no cooking spray so i had to go to the store before making breakfast (i brought everything else with me). I also checked in quite late and with no a/c the unit was very warm as the windows had been closed all day and fans off. So it took a while to air it out and cool off. Otherwise, it was absolutely beautiful and the communication was very efficient. The views from the living room and balcony and so relaxing and enjoyed by all! ##### Simply E. Very clean, and spacious for us. The view from the balcony is great and the weather was super. Its has a very comfy feel to it. Cozy bed, loved the fireplace, and again how clean and updated everthing was. The grounds of the comlex are very green and enjoyed walking around the location. Loved the sound of the creek outside the door. The put put golf and the pool. Appreciate all the text message given as we enjoyed the weekend giving us our details. Great for walking the beach, going to the harbor and hitting the pier. Ate at local places and did some wine tasting in town. Make sure to have some ice cream at Handels. The only thing that could be a little better was housekeeping. There was food or blood stuck on the bedroom door and food on the bedspread. There was only one sand chair available. The area was super busy but we were willing to walk everywhere we went locally. Driving around is an option but because Oceanside was so busy parking would have taken some addt time. MANY options for dining, relaxation, and exercise. Incredible location to take in sunsets and relax on beach. My only request if using this same location again would be to create some sort of better air circulation through the unit. Possibly a fan at the front door/window and a fan at the back door/window. There wasnt enough natural air movement with the doors/windows open. An easy fix to keep the humidity down inside the unit itself. We loved the beach chairs/cooler/umbrella/games/wagon/towels which were all available to use. ##### jason t. The balcony has a wonderful view. The grounds at the community are lush and beautiful. The pool is warm and nice. I felt safe and appreciated the security patrolling the grounds. The beach is a little rocky, but the sand is still nice. Only one small problem for the stay: I didn’t receive a text about check in directions, which was a little inconvenient. ##### Michele W. Accommodations were good but it’s run more like a hotel so if you need extras for cooking (spices, aluminum foil, storage bags/ containers) be sure to bring them. Also, don’t be like us and wait until the last day to realize there’s beach chairs and an umbrella in one of the closets lol. This condo is very close to the parking garage as well, which we liked even though most things are close enough to walk to. Overall, 10/10 highly recommend. Open the windows or sit on the patio and listen to the waves while watching a sunset. Unit and amenities were described accurately and photos provided a clear picture of the condo.
