Listening to the roaring Pacific at night was very tranquil and set the tone for our stay! The condo was perfect as advertised. The view is way better however! Watching the surfers even in December was just an awe for my kids and I. Oceanside is a great place to stay in between San Diego and LA. We highly recommend making it up to San Diego to La Jolla to see the Sea Lions! Visit Disney in Anaheim. Take a Hollywood Tour. Also we ventured up to Palm Springs up the Tramway! The property is exactly as described. You couldn't be any closer to the ocean unless you were on a boat. The sound of the waves and stones being moving lulled us to sleep each night. No need for my sound machine this trip. The sandy beach was just a short 2 minute walk down the Strand. The deck was wonderful for morning coffee and dolphin watching and also evening sitting with a glass of wine while visiting with our son who lives near by. Nate was a wonderful host. Our names were on the welcome sign when we arrived. Garage parking was very convenient. Our son used Uber and Lyft with ease and pick up took about 3 min from request. We had a tower fan that stopped working on our second night. I sent an email to request a new one. Nate replied within a couple of minutes and we had a new fan in less than 10 minutes! Rented this space for myself and three of my closest friends for a weekend getaway. The location couldn't have been better. The owner and other tenants were extremely helpful in getting us set up when we first arrived, and giving us more information about the area and the best spots. We slept with the windows open all weekend to hear the sound of the waves! It was a bit humid (to be expected) and sand got everywhere (also to be expected) but the room got the job done! I wouldn't recommend this place if you need a large bathroom or shower however!
