We did not have beach in front of the house or a safe walkway to the beach right in front, but a safe 1/2 to 3/4 mile walk was good beach and all the shops and eateries of Oceanside. quiet nice neighborhood with plenty to do. The patios and roof top balcony were amazing and used by all every day. Great Ocean sounds, watching the waves and the sunsets! Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would have made sleeping more comfortable. we needed to close the windows at night because of neighbors out late (3, 4 in the morning) below us and on both sides. We brought our church college ministry here for a fall retreat and we had an amazing time! It was stunning to see and hear the ocean from every floor in the house. There was plenty of room for all 28 of us, and we loved how bath AND beach towels were available for everyone! The large kitchen made it easy for us to cook all our meals in the house, and it was amazing to be within walking distance of the beach. We had some minor issues during our stay, but for the most part we were able to adapt, or we contacted the office and maintenance came out. There was one section of the house where the power kept shutting off, which maintenance concluded was due to the hot tub and an air conditioner being on the same breaker; hopefully they can fix that soon for future guests.
