Starfish Villa \~ D304 at North Coast Village Take a look straight down the beach to the Oceanside Pier, and you’ll be amazed by the breathtaking views from this Penthouse condo. You’ll see the ocean, sand, and pier stretching out for miles, all the way to La Jolla! This condo is located in the ocean-close D building, facing south. It’s been completely renovated with soothing ocean colors, a La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa, recliner, two comfortable chairs with ottomans, and two ocean-view balconies. The kitchen and bathrooms have custom cabinets, gorgeous slab granite countertops, a stone backsplash, and wood-look porcelain tile floors. The main bedroom is on the upper level and has an expansive ocean-view balcony. You can fall asleep to the sound of the waves in new (2023) pillow-top bed with luxurious bedding. The second bedroom has two full-size pillow-top beds. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are three televisions, and free wireless internet is available. Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless internet. This condo is just steps from the sand - no roads to cross! In the evening, the Village comes alive with gorgeous colored lighting. Located in northern San Diego County, five minutes off I-5, right next to the Oceanside Harbor (featuring many unique shops and excellent restaurants) and a short walk to Oceanside Pier. Swim, surf, walk the longest stretch of sandy beach in Southern California, kayak, boat, paddle boats, fish, shop, all just steps from your condo. As you walk through the staffed secure gate to North Coast Village, you're transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex located in Oceanside, California, between the Harbor and the Pier. You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit. There is also a putting green and foosball. When you venture all the way through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat, with fire rings, volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Be sure to stake out a fire ring (to the left) for a unique evening beach fire at least one night while you are in Oceanside. To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer. Parties or events are not allowed at this property. The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and and the Sunset Market Thursday evenings from 5-9. The unit is super clean and well stocked with necessities for cooking. It's also conveniently located close to the elevator for easy move in and move out. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Had everything in the kitchen we needed to make a few dinners- the coffee filters were amazing as I had forgotten to get some. The onsite grill was great. The two patios had nice views and loved hearing the ocean all night. The onsite pool, hot tub, and garage parking were great bonuses. Pool, hot tub, sauna,Koi fish pond, floral garden paths, easy beach access, sound of the waves 24 seven were all a lovely dream come true! We even walked to the marina to rent kayaks, enjoyed food, ice cream, and shopping before walking back. Only improvement I can think of would be that the complex washer dryers and fitness center machines need maintenance as many of them were not working. We had such a lovely stay. This was our first time at North Coast Village and we absolutely loved it. So close to the beach and very family friendly. We enjoyed having a pool and hot tub in addition to the beach. The unit was clean and there was plenty of space for all 6 of us. (2 adults and 2 kids upstairs and in-laws downstairs). The master closet was huge and we put our kids on a queen size air mattress in there. The 2 porches were a plus. Nice kitchen and bathroom. 3 TVs. Everyone had room to do their own thing or hang out in the living/dining area as a family. We really had zero complaints, everything went perfectly! The beach outside of North Coast Village is big and nice and sandy (no rocks like the other end of the Strand.) We also went to Legoland which was only a 15 min drive. ##### Sara M. Checkin was slightly confusing and not very helpful with parking as we had 2 cars but only 1 assigned space. Going somewhere that sleeps six you would think they would plan for at least 2 vehicles. We got to our house it was clean and the decor was nice. We loved the patios. The beds were comfortable. The towel situation was a not ideal especially without a washer/dryer in the unit. If you’re staying for a week the towels should be exchanged at no charge. The gym was really nice. The elevator did break on our last night which left us walking down 3 flights of stairs with all of our stuff which was not ideal. I don’t think it was quite worth the price we paid but the location was wonderful to be walking distance to so much. Upstairs was a little stuffy even with the fans on. Also the owner should leave instructions on how to work the tv and maybe some favorite places in the area. Also update regarding fire pits as there are none and we were looking forward to that. This was the least communicative booking we have made as far as getting there and being helpful. The nightly sunsets and listening to the waves was definitely relaxing and that was wonderful. ##### Linda W.
