Legoland Home with A Pool Welcome to our charming Oceanside home. We are conveniently located a 12 minute drive to Legoland and the beach. 4 BR, 2 BA home with a private pool. Comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Please ask us if you have more than 8 guests. Our home features: \- Private swimming pool with in-ground hot tub. \- BBQ in the backyard and a small portable fire pit. \- The kitchen is fully equipped for making your family meals. \- Foosball table, shuffleboard table, ping pong table, board games, and kids toys etc. \- Large screen TVs with Roku (Disney+ and Peacock channels). \- We have baby items such as strollers, wagon, swings, eating chairs, Pack 'N Play, safety gate, etc. \- Going to the beach? Boogie boards, wagon, chairs, beach toys, beach towels, coolers are available. It is our goals to provide an excellent service to each and every guest. Please let us know if there is anything we can help to make your stay enjoyable. We also have our own house rules. Please make sure you are comfortable with these rules before booking. \* Guests need to keep the outside noise to the minimum between 9:30PM-8AM. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES or EVENTS allowed. No exception. Violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction without refund. \* We are a smoke-free home. Smoking is not permitted. Security deposit will be charged for removing any smoke odor. \* Obviously, no lifeguard on duty. The swimming pool depth varies from about 4 to 9ft. Swimming pools can be very dangerous for toddlers, children or anyone who can't swim. Please supervise the children and play safely. The swimming pool has a safety fence. The gate is opened by pulling the little knob on top of the gate straight up, then pull the gate toward you. Use the provided safety vests and please keep the gate locked at all times. No running, diving, flipping. No glass allowed near the pool. \* Our weekly pool cleanings are scheduled on Thursday around 4pm and early Sunday morning. The pool guy will quietly enter the pool area through the side gate on his own and work on the pool for 15 minutes. Please let us know if you have any concerns. \* The hot tub heating is free. The big pool heating is optional, and it has an extra fee. Most of the year, guests can enjoy the swimming pool without the need to heat the pool. During the wintertime, if you would like to heat the big pool, there is an extra heating fee of $100 for the first day and $60 per subsequent day to heat the big pool water to 85F degrees. \* The 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month are street cleaning day. Please do not park on the street on these days from 10am to 2pm to avoid getting a ticket. There are signs on the street as well. CHECKOUT RULES: \* Please wash your dishes. \* Please put back the pool toys, floaties, and outdoor chairs to their place. Plenty of soap, shampoo, tp, dishwasher and clothes washer detergents. Everything you need for a day at the beach. The house was so well stocked it really made our time great because we didn't have to worry about getting or renting these things. Lots of game tables in the garage. Convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, Lego Land and the beach. The owner left snacks which was fun for the kids. Overall a great place to stay. The Cons…The week we were there it was uncharacteristically hot for the area. There is no air conditioning. I did see in the listing that there wasn’t any central air in the home and reached out to the owner in advance about it. I was told that the whole house fan cooled the house. It was very very hot in the house and this made it difficult to sleep. The whole house fan did very little to help until well after midnight. In addition there were several pairs of random shoes in the living room near the front door and on the back patio near the back door. Over all I would stay here again but not in late Summer. It ended up okay due to the fact that we weren’t at the house much duringthe day. ##### Cindy W. Everyone was happiest at this amazing house: a destination in itself. There were so. many. toys and activities for our 3-11 year old boys. It was a blast for both families. We have a family of 4 (one preteen and one teen), plus 2 grandparents, that thoroughly enjoy this house! Although we spent most of our time in the backyard pool/hot tub, our whole family played for hours in the garage/game room in the evenings. The ping pong table was the BEST! We never traveled much outside of the house, but didn't need to -- this place felt like our own private resort. Although there was no AC (and it was warm in Oceanside in mid-July!), as long as we opened the windows in the evening (and kept the fans going), it cooled down for a great night sleep. Thank you for all the nice extras, Vi...like the smores kit, extra toothbrushes, sunscreen, bug repellent, plenty of toiletries for the bathrooms and all the delicious fruits. Toys were for kids up to I'd say age 9-10 which is what we had. Plenty of room for all of us. There is a gate around the pool, definitely put us at ease. Very close to the freeway but you don't hear freeway noise. Property is just a little inland so you don't have June gloom for most of the day - unlike a beach house. ##### Wendy K. A highlight of summer for our family. Working with Vi and her family was great, and their home is beautiful. Our family made great memories there from cooking breakfast in the morning, swimming later in the day, making s’mores at the fire pit, and enjoying a family game night. It was a beautiful home, clean, and well stocked with things your family might need while visiting. You could tell they really put thought and care into creating a great gettaway location for families. The jacuzzi heated up quickly and the pool was nice and warm the day we requested it be heated.
