Called VRBO, and they said the owner wanted to speak with me.I never asked for any discount.The owner is rude, insulting, and threatening. No apology, and said the blinds that fell off the wall and hit my wife in the head aren’t that heavy. He was shouting and carrying on, and I asked him if he’s even going to apologize — he refused.Then he said he was breaking the VRBO contract and ordering us to immediately vacate, no warning. Then he changed the code on the locks with no warning, attempting to trap our suitcases inside.Then he tried to get VRBO to keep my money. Fortunately, I had his message in writing ordering us to vacate and changing the locks without warning. VRBO told him he was in violation of many policies and gave me a full refund.Here are a sampling of the pictures, but it’s much worse than this.My advice is to find another property. Communication with the point of contact for the property was fast and smooth. The property info is easy to access at anytime via your mobile device . The check in and entry access was simple and directions are easy to follow. The home is cozy, clean and all basic amenities are provided. My little ones especially loved all the property amenities (pool, playground, soccer and basketball courts, gym, etc). It was nice to have a pack n play available and the place was definitely spacious enough and a short drive to Legoland. Massah also was always very responsive to any questions. The only suggestion would maybe be to have more cookware/spices/kid friendly dinnerware available as we cooked all our meals during our stay.
