"Loved our room and the entire hotel. I believe there were only 2 other guest rooms occupied when we were there in late March 2026. Breakfast was delightful and Rizea was particularly nice to pack us a to go breakfast when we needed to leave early in the morning on our first day there. Loved the glassed enclosure and the beautiful indoor gardens. We’d definitely stay there again! "

"I enjoyed the convenience to the shops and road to CBD, however, my booking was mixed up , the room I got is not the one I paid for and had to complain and the second day was moved to a better room but sill was not the one I booked and paid for. "The overall stay was excellent. Breakfast had so many options, each dish was unique. Dinner at the Bombay Brasserie was out of the world, each dish fresh, delicately flavored and distinctive!! Of special mention - the honesty of the housekeeping staff. I had dropped some cash, leaving the room, unaware of my loss. When I returned, there was a note by security, with all the cash intact. I would recommend Taj in Cape Town for a wonderful stay in a prime location with an amazingly helpful cheerful staff."
