Villa With Heated Private Pool and WiFi

  • Casa Sara is a 4 bed modern villa with a large private pool(10x5m) and extensive sun terraces. It is set on a hilltop in a quiet rural area with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Just 3km from the medieval town of Obidos. Recently named as one of the seven wonders of Portugal. Casa Sara is set on 2/3 of an acre of landscaped gardens with plenty of room for children to run around. It has a remote controlled gate with intercom. To the rear of the villa there is a large BBQ area with a brick bread oven. Sit on the balcony and have your breakfast or enjoy a glass of local wine as you enjoy the sun setting behind the vineyard covered hills. Casa Sara is finished to a high standard and includes a games room with a 10ft snooker table, dart board and table tennis table. Casa Sara is the perfect villa to spend time in or as a base to explore all the features of this beautiful region of Portugal.

Tres belle maison

Belle maison situé sur les hauteurs d'Obidos, il y a pas mal de vent du fait de l'emplacement de la maison mais la vu y est magnifique. Tout les necessaire etait present meme pour les bébés. La personne sur place qui gère la location sur place est super egalement.

What an amazing 16 night's spent at this amazing villa. Myself & the family didnt want to leave. It was like home from home everything you needed was there. Close to lots of amazing places to visit and supermarkets near by. We will definitely be returning to this amazing villa and paul was very helpful in the process of our stay. Every morning we sat on the balcony with a cuppa looking at the amazing view. It was breathe taking. Just an amazing stay. 5 star x

De villa ligt op een mooie en rustige locatie en alles was aanwezig. Het zwembad is top. De ontvangst en verdere beschikbaarheid van Angela was zeer aangenaam.

Very nice

Beautiful, clean house with lots of things to do. The house is fully equiped, even has a room with games, and a large swimmingpool and garden. Beautiful views from the terrace. Obidos is a nice place to visit and wonderful beaches nearby.

Very relaxing holiday

We enjoyed a terrific holiday on the Silver Coast where Obidos is a wonderful walled medieval town with lots of charming character, excellent choice of restaurants and plenty of shops to buy holiday gifts. Casa Sara is a marvel! The villa is very well appointed, with all modern conveniences that you require and a private swimming pool. The short drive from Obidos is well worth it, with the villa enjoying a westerly aspect and mountain views. It is in spotless condition and there is the added bonus of a well equipted games room. You can sun bathe while the kids play! This villa is well deserving of its 5 star rating!

The perfect property

Communication with Paul the property owner via WhatsApp was excellent. Angela who manages the property was so helpful sending places to visit, to eat the local markets etc which was a great help as it was our first time in this area. The villa was perfect kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect. The games room was a added bonus lots of room to play pool,snooker, ping pong, football table.it also has a beautiful down stairs Bedroom with a whirlpool bath and two toilets.The pool was excellent and the childs area made it so much safer for the little ones. The gardens are beautiful and lots of fruit trees. The villa is completely private. The area well i tour Europe a few times a year and this area was the most friendly place i have visited for a long time. There is lots of things to do for every age. Then to return back to this amazing villa made our holiday. I would rate this as a 5*+ i highly recommend to any anyone. I will definitely be renting again

This review should be a 4. I will tell you why and we give it a 2. The villa is fantastic in some areas like the kitchen ( everything you need) and the living area was very comfortable . The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The games room was brilliant and plenty of sunbeds. However, we spent a considerable amount of our holiday messaging Paul about things that were not right. The pool was far too hot when we arrived and the umbrella was broken. The filter didn't work and spent 2 weeks of our holiday sorting it out. The terrace is a lovely space, but the furniture is falling apart and in desperate need of replacement. The telly was broken. Paul knew about this before we arrived but failed to tell us. It has lost 10% of the screen. The bbq had not been cleaned out so didn’t use it. There is a property next door so not completely rural. Then you have a property over the road with a dog. A dog that barks from 7am and continues throughout the day when a car goes by. In the distance are working farms. Depending on when you stay will depend on the noise of machinery. We stayed in August when they were treating the pear trees. The tractors start at 0630. Uber is great in the week and in the afternoon. Our family got stuck in Obidos on a Sunday night. No one wanted to bring us back. We were saved by a lovely hotel manager who had a friend to bring us back to the villa. We call this holiday bitter sweet. This property just needs some TLC. Beautiful villa, exactly as shown in the photos. Our family had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday here. The heated pool was amazing, gorgeous views from the balcony and plenty of room for everyone. A short drive into Obidos for restaurants, supermarkets and the castle. Would definitely recommend. Paul was a great help and always quick to respond to messages.

Great few days

We were a group of 8 friends wanting to go away from the city for a few days. Óbidos couldn’t have been a better choice ! The house was even better than the pictures! Paul was a great host and explained everything very clearly. Cannot even explain in words how wonderful the whole experience was !

Holidays 2020 - West Coast (Portugal)

In general the house has everything and is in accordance with the described and the advertised amenities. The location in a rural area and very quiet, surrounded by apple and pear orchards. The pool is an asset with heated water where you can have fun during the day or even late at night. The house is in need of some adjustments in some parts, mainly in the basement room and games area, humidity. It is a 10-minute drive from Castelo de Óbidos and the shopping area if you need to shop.
