« I booked this cosy looking B&B from a recommendation I was given and it didn't disappoint. When I arrived late afternoon, I was warmly welcomed by Ellie the owner and her gorgeous dogs (very well behaved I might add). Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). « Seules 3 chambres composent cet hôtel charmant. Les chambres sont très agréables et très joliment décorées, dans un style ancien. Un jardin et un parc avec jeux pour enfants sont attenants à l'arrière. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et le personnel très sympathique. A savoir tout de même : la chambre avec les lits jumeaux est côté route donc un peu bruyante, et la salle de bain n'y est pas directement attenante (même si elle reste privée, et l'hôtel met à disposition des peignoirs pour vous y...

« le cadre est très agréable, mais le personnel est totalement incompétent : - pour le diner, une heure entre la prise de la commande et les plats servis à table (et il n'y avait que deux tables à servir , dont la nôtre !!!!) - même scénario pour le petit déjeuner, mais le temps est plus réduit : 25 minutes . Le prix pour ce déjeuner (12 livres) est excéssif par rapport à ce qui est proposé Lors de la réservation, le coût journalier pour un chien n'est pas détaillé : or il nous a été demandé 20...

« Chambres comme des petits bungalows à l'écart du restaurant. Très propre. Salle de bains spacieuse avec baignoire et douche à l'italienne. Restaurant sur place délicieux. Petit déjeuner à "l'anglaise" compris dans le prix très copieux! Seul petit bémol, la ligne de chemin de fer qui passe juste derrière la chambre, cela peut surprendre! »

"The public areas are excellent and inviting. Thank you for the constant supply of cold water fountains during an extreme heatwave. The criticism is for poor HOUSEKEEPING. We stayed 5 nights. Used cups/glasses never collected, room never vacuumed, liquid soap dispensers never replenished, toilet paper almost depleted (we had to ask), bed making just thrown together, our room totally forgotten one day. Seems to be a real lack of staff, training and supervision in this department. "

"Compared to the Z Hotel in Holborn (which was ok), this one was stellar! The staff was very warm and lovely, my room was so nice with a lovely view on Bath, what a treat! I preferred the bathroom there. It was smaller than the one in Holborn but better organised with a proper door on the shower. Modern, lovely and well located hotel (even though I had an issue finding it using Google Maps!, it’s actually nestled between the Five Guys and the Lane 7 - don’t worry you can’t smell any fried food nor hear any ruckus!) thanks for a great but short stay!"
