"What's not to like! The Randles is an amazing place. We stayed in one of the new townhouse rooms. It was beautifully furnished, including a lovely fireplace and mini fridge, even air conditioning! Private parking and great location. My ONLY complaint was the lighting in the bathroom was not quite sufficient for doing makeup and (for my husband) shaving. Reception desk...JUSTIN...is the BEST! Such a pleasure to meet him, very helpful, great sense of humor, still remaining professional. He was a joy to meet. Miss him already! Food was awesome, wait staff friendly, great people all around. If we ever get back to Killarney, we will definitely stay there again! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. "
"My second stay at Hotel Killarney, and it feels like my home-away-from-home in Killarney. Fantastic staff, huge and nice rooms, great pool and exercise facilities, nice dining and restaurant options, big and good buffet breakfast included, lots of free parking on site. The only downside is that it is about a 30 minute walk to downtown Killarney and there's no shuttle option. But, to be fair, AFAIK, no other hotels runs shuttles to downtown Killarney, and the city doesn’t have any public transport either."
"We were so excited for our stay here and it was a great experience start to finish! By far the nicest hotel we stayed at during our road trip around Ireland. The room with the lake view was absolutely incredible. This is a great location for visiting Killarney (very easy to drive to if you have a rental car). Even walking around the grounds is beautiful. It was relaxing & scenic.
Our service at the bar at the end of the night was sub-par (slow service + a lot of dirty tables not being cleaned off). The breakfast included was top notch - high quality & great offerings - don't miss breakfast!
For US-based travelers though I would caution the 5-star rating as it is a bit different than a 5 star US hotel. It was still clean & very nice with upgraded amenities vs other hotels we stayed at in Ireland, but it a bit dated."
