Después, descubrimos que cancelaron nuestra reserva para dárselo a otra persona que pagaba más. No les importó dejarnos en la calle sin hotel en temporada alta. Además, el hotel se encuentra en una zona muy comercial, muy alejado del centro. No recomendado."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Nueve De Julio?
The best area to stay in Nueve De Julio is the town centre, particularly around the Plaza de Armas.

This central area is the heart of Nueve De Julio, offering convenience and easy access to local amenities. The Plaza de Armas is a green, open space surrounded by important buildings such as the Municipal Palace and the main church, Iglesia Matriz San José. The streets immediately surrounding the plaza, like Calle Ayacucho and Jirón Bolognesi, are where you'll find most of the shops, restaurants, and local businesses. It's a very walkable and well-maintained part of town.

For visitors looking to experience the local culture and have everything within reach, staying near the Plaza de Armas is ideal. You'll be able to easily find local eateries serving traditional Peruvian dishes, explore small artisan shops, and simply enjoy the daily rhythm of the town.
When is the best time to go to Nueve De Julio?
The best time to visit Nueve De Julio is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.

During these months, you'll experience pleasant, sunny weather with less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the region's natural beauty and outdoor activities. The temperatures are generally mild and comfortable, great for hiking or visiting local markets.

Couples looking for an active holiday will find this period particularly appealing. The clear skies and drier trails are great for exploring the nearby Andean foothills and enjoying scenic walks. It's also a good time to experience local festivals, which often take place during the drier months.

For solo travellers interested in cultural experiences, the dry season offers more opportunities to engage with the local community. Many outdoor events and traditional celebrations are held during this time, providing a deeper insight into the region's heritage.
