Only grumble was lack of TV in my room but I didn't chase this up so can't comment on whether it would have been rectified. Otherwise very comfortable and serviceable.

Great nights stay
Very pleasant stay. Staff very helpful and friendly providing extras if required and local info. Room spacious, very clean and well equipped for 3 star accommodation. Bed comfortable but a bit low to floor (74 yrs old !) Entrance to property easy to miss. Breakfast - Brilliant

Good for what you pay
We paid less than £40 for a double room for one night. Check in was between 2pm-6pm, meaning we had plenty of time to explore Nottingham. The staff member at reception was absolutely lovely - we had to fill a form out to ensure that they had the details of our car so that it wouldn't be clamped or ticketed. Our room was on the second floor - there was a metal staircase leading upstairs that was a little noisy, but we couldn't hear people walking up it during the night. The mattress was good quality, but a little too hard for me. The pillows were super soft, as were the covers. The shower warmed up quickly, and the shampoo and bodywash provided were great. The towels were all very clean. The room and bathroom were in good condition. There is no TV or minifridge in the room (as it's more like a B&B rather than a hotel). There was a dining and living area downstairs where guests could watch TV. The WiFi was great, so we were able to make do with watching stuff on our phone. Would definitely recommend if you're looking at going somewhere in Nottingham like Rock City or the theatre.

Great place. The reception team was very friendly and check in was fast. The room was clean and of a good size. Whenever I needed anything, I just asked at reception and it was quickly provided. Excellent value (I have stayed again and will do in the future).

Good for Short Stay
Stayed for one night when attending a gig at Rock City. Good location with quick access from the M1 and easy walking distance to tram stop for convenient and cheap travel to/from the city centre. On site parking. Basic room but then it was relatively cheap. Better than average supply of tea/coffee/milk. It was a very hot day so the opening windows and fan were necessary. Shower was fine but, like in many hotels, no shelf for shampoo etc. A shelf above the basin for toothpaste, razors etc would also be beneficial. No TV in room but as we were only there one night this didn't really matter. The mattress felt like it was near end of life and there were some depressions in the floor. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.

Staff I met were very friendly and efficient. Nice room and excellent WiFi. No tv in room but WiFi made up for it. Would like a plug in the sink as it’s more difficult to shave without one. Good kitchen facilities available for use.

Fantastic Value!
Lovely clean room; WiFi, shower, kettle etc all worked fine. Towels included too. Two minute walk to tram stop to easily travel to Nottingham city centre. I believe housekeeping is on request, rather than by default, but not an issue

Over all fine
You get what you pay for. The rooms performed a duty and the bed was very low but comfortable. Shower was great and very easy to use. They were good in giving me a desk which I requested to do work. First few nights were good. However one of the night's was awful. Sounded like a party with things happening that shouldn't. Did ring and speak to Operations Manager who was very quick in resolving the issue and being very apologetic. All in all a good stay over all. Stayed for 8 nights while watching the cricket.

Low cost, budget B&B that always tries to please.
For a smaller budget, this place is fine. You get a bed (sometimes a good one, sometimes an older one), always have Tea and Coffee in the rooms, has a very nice and large guest area/dining room. Always had a clean bathroom and shower. I have stayed here numerous times for work, 9/10 the Wifi works fine, but you need to make sure to ask for a room with a desk, otherwise you run the risk of not having one. Staff are always happy to help move you if they can though. Always has parking spaces free of charge, they are only about 2-3 minutes drive from the centre of Bulwell and a 10-15 drive to Nottingham City centre, or a small walk to the Trams. Ideal for working in Bulwell. Breakfast has always been a letdown, so generally, I don't order it anymore. Ultimately, you get what you pay for with hotels, but this place is good value for your money.

Good, simple B&B close to the hospital.
We used this B&B for a stay as we needed somewhere close to the Nottingham City Hospital and this was an ideal location. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very basic, however for the price it was worth every pound. We did not have the breakfast as we had to leave very early. Overall a good stay and would use again for the hospital.

Great short stay
I've stayed here a few times when visiting and I'd definitely stay again. Very convenient location for me and reasonable prices. Basic but always clean and tidy. Very friendly staff and great to have kitchen/ self-cater facilities.

Very, very basic.
No TV in bedroom. Staff spoke little to no English. Issue with Breakfast. Long black hair in food. Hair very long on both females in kitchen. No nets, or tied up. Serious hygiene issue. Slope leading to bathroom. Not marked Serious for people with mobility orsite problems. Health and Safety issue. Stairs leading to rooms are fire escapes, and not normal staircases.

Good points: Decent location close to M1, Junction 26 and easy to find Situated adjacent to a tram station for easy access into Nottingham Not so good points: Noisy pub over the road, probably only applies Friday to Sunday night Rooms are a bit sparse, but clean and reasonably comfortable. My room was downstairs, it can be a little noisy if guests upstairs are stomping around Overall, it's OK though. It was cheap - and you get what you pay for. Note no TVs in the rooms, there is a common room type social space with a large TV.

I was late in arriving due to the road conditions and could not get in. I did not have my phone so could not ring. I was left with a message on the door which said a password was sent to my e.mail or text to open a small wall safe to obtain my key. Wonderful! I had no text receiving facility, I did not have internet access, how was I to get my "safe code". Somebody kindly let me use their phone but an answer machine was my reply, what now? Eventually somebody located a cleaner who able to access the safe to get my room key................. she was really nice and helpful did not fancy sleeping in the car after leaving home a 6.00am.

Great place for the money. We where lucky to have brand new beds that where very comfortable. Location is great, just hop on the tram and your downtown in 15 minutes. Bath room could have been cleaned a tad better but was not that upset about it. Other then that room was clean. And couldn't really argue for the price. Would definitely recommend. Just remember this is a budget hotel.

Basic and uncomfortable bed
Once I arrived at Nottingham I found it difficult to find the hotel as the sign for the place was about 10 yards up the driveway, not visible from the road and right on a small roundabout. A sign at the end of the driveway would have been helpful. Room was clean and fresh. Bathroom lacked shelving with only a small window sill to house any toiletries. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. When paying a decent rate per night you expect a decent bed. We could feel the springs through the mattress. Slept on top of the duvet and could still feel the springs....very disappointing. Stayed 2 nights but didn't have the coffee/tea facilities replenished. Why? If someone else had booked the room after us, they would have been. Definitely will not be staying there on our next visit to Nottingham and would not recommend it to anyone.

As you can probably appreciate at this price point we don't provide daily housekeeping through out your stay with out it being requested. one night trip
It was a bit tricky finding the entrance to the car park which is just by the mini round about. We only spent 1 night as there for the open day at the university. The receptionist showed us to the apartment but there is a box to return the key on checkout. The apartment was very clean and bed comfortable. WIFI was good. There was a cooker and kettle. Tea/coffee supplied. No fridge and no cooking utensils. No tea towel. Washing up liquid supplied. Our appartment faced the busy main road so there were some noise as we had to leave the windows open at night due to the hot weather. Shower was clean and worked well. Towels were good quality. TV is in the lounge downstairs.
