"Hotel was good. Very close to shopping and dinning. Easy walk to many sights. We did have someone playing guitar and singing loud right outside room on street every night. Not hotels fault. Security is weak. Room key is skeleton key and WiFi is not secure. There is Lidl very close for water and groceries. Room has fridge. "

"The rooms and property were very clean. They are also in an ideal area for walking to see nearby sights. One of the two rooms we had was not good at all. The air conditioning didn't work and the shower flooded because it was backed up. So one room was excellent, one was terrible. I imagine this is a rare occasion in this place but it was very unfortunate for one of our rooms to have issues. "

Very comfortable, clean and well-located, in an area that has a lot of dining and bakery options, and a short walk to the historical center (Ortigia). "ily run hotel. A very different experience with 3 dogs and peacocks roaming freely. Very friendly animals. It was fun watching the donkey and pigs eating their slop this morning. Rooms are large but structure very old and dirt road very rough when approaching property. Enjoyed some from usual!"

"Owner is very friendly and goes above and beyond to help. Space was sufficient and clean, conveniently located. Elevators onsite so no need to carry your luggage through stairwells. This B&B doesn’t have any signage but upon arrival the owner showed up and brought us to the correct floor and helped us get settled in. "

"Great little hotel, very close walking distance to the key sights and restaurants to visit in Ragusa Ibla. Very clean as well. The only thing to note is that the hotels.com posting mentions parking but this is actually on street parking a few minutes walk away dependant on availability and not guaranteed. "

"We stayed for a whole week in this property, a big family of 11 adults and 3 infants. Before our arrival Martina did everything to make sure that our stay will be perfect, and helped us with a lot of questions. The house is a true home from home, exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. The communication beforehand was great and I was met by Enzo whom I followed up to the house. Stayed again so must be good

"Visited Noto once again and returned to the Sofia (tried a B&B last year but not a great experience) so back to the Sofia and as always the all the staff are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - The rooms are clean and comfortable - however it would be nice to have Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was standard for the 4* hotel. It is on the outskirts of Noto but the centre is 5 minute in the car. I will be back again "

A Classy Palace Hotel

"The rooms and common spaces here are beautiful and it's centrally located in Noto. Breakfast is delivered to your room on a cart. Nice balcony, lovely courtyard. The staff here is wonderful - so nice and helpful. Biggest bathroom you find in Italy (or anywhere, really!). Very clean. Would definitely stay there again."

Terre di Romanello Relais in Val di Noto

"Nice hotel, great view of Noto, looked like the photos but seemed very family oriented. We booked as a couple for part of our honeymoon and probably made the wrong choice. Eg there were families with kids playing and screaming in the pool both days we tried to enjoy it (not the vibe we were after). Hotel staff were nice when approached but we found it odd that there wasn't much service… eg there was a pool and a bar outside but if you wanted service you had to get out of the pool, dry off, walk back to the property and order. Even when staff were dropping off pool drinks for other guests they still wouldn’t offer service to the rest of us? Another example was no offer of help with luggage. To me as a guest, these are missed opportunities. Also felt the price was quite high when comparing to experience and amenities offered. "
