The home was very clean and welcoming. The owners were pleasant and helpful. The bedding did need to be updated with new pillows. The breakfast was very lacking in taste and appeal.

The breakfast is a continental breakfast and you are welcome to go downtown to some our 5 star restaurantsfor a much better breakfast

The third floor room #5 was bigger than expected - would maybe benefit from a small dinette to have extra seating. Annette was wonderful and very friendly.

I had room number 4 which has a queen bed and a huge bathroom with 2 windows. High ceilings. House was built in 1895. Nice porch. Annette makes delicious sweets. 5 minute walk to center of Northport where there is a big Tom's supermarket, a bakery and several restaurants.

We liked everything about the stay. One exception we stayed on the top floor. The top floor was really what used to be an attic converted. The stairway to this room is very odd to say the least. Very steep with very low over heads. But we made the best of it. Bed was a bit worn we rolled towards the middle. The location to town was great.! Very easily walked . It’s a great part of the country to visit.! And the hosts were very friendly. And the place was super clean.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Wauban Bed & Breakfast! Immaculate, comfortable room with bath. The hosts were the nicest people ever! Breakfast was delicious. We will be back.

True northern Michigan house - you could almost imagine Ernest Hemingway writing here. Clean and comfortable and the host was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

This is an old restored house that was converted into a B&B. It was very comfortable and a short, walkable distance from downtown Northport. The screened porch was a great place to chat with friends. Breakfast was nice, but not many options for those on restricted diets. All in all it was a very nice place to stay and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

We liked the historic nature of the building. The property was very clean. The room was very quiet and the bed very comfortable. We didn’t like the climb up stairs at our age. The breakfast was OK. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. We chose this inn because it was the closest we could find to family we were visiting.

For being a 1895 house...its amazing! Love that it has codes for the house and rooms! Coffee was so good! The house and rooms were very clean.

Quiet and comfortable
Very quaint and well maintained historic house. Hosts, and their dog, we’re very welcoming, but also gave plenty of space and didn’t hover. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Common space is large and cozy. Breakfast was good.

Wauban Coyyage
We loved the location in Northport MI. Since we were staying at a bed and breakfast we expected a full service breakfast and were disappointed in the buffet style eggs and hash that was served. The room we were in was a little noisy- it was next to the main staircase and sound traveled. The innkeeper was very nice.

Very old home that needs a lot of TLC. The breakfast was less than desirable. Way overpriced for what you get.

Sorry I dont agree with you You stayed at our inn and got a good basic breakfast that all other guests love You had AC in your room and anyplace else in Leelanau county mi you would have had to pay at less $75 more We want our home to have a step back in time feel I think you should stick to the holidays inns

Amazing Bed & Breakfast that we will book again!
My fiancé and I stayed at the beautiful Wauban Cottage in Northport, MI for a weekend getaway. Brad and Annette were very kind and welcoming. We had a private room and a private bathroom across the hall with coded doorknob locks. The room was very clean and air-conditioned. There were plenty of relaxing sitting areas inside, outside, and on the screened wrap-around porch. The house was decorated so well and it really made you feel at home. We will definitely book again whenever we come this way!

Relaxing stay
Spent two nights at this wonderful old home. As a senior it was a little challenge to get to the 3rd floor as there is not elevator. My room was spacious, very clean and comfortable.The hosting couple were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast might be a little more expansive with the addition of fresh fruit. The star of the place is a wrap around screened porch. Great for reading, especially on a rainy day as I had. Totally relaxing place to stay.
