Top Northern Europe Hotel Reviews

Royal Garden Hotel
4/10 Poor
"One star SERVICE - There are many things that I liked about this hotel, but the negatives outweighed the good. After traveling around the world many times, I don't think I've come across such incompetent staff until now. The window was broken so they switched me to another room, when they did so, they failed to leave the room keys with me and they said they'd come back right away to remove what was an extra portable bed in my room and replace it with a sofa. Five HOURS later after being told many times by multiple people that it would be "just a few Minutes", I received my room keys and the portable bed was moved out and the sofa in. All this while I was unable to shower whilst waiting for them to return and wanting to get out to see the city. There was no compensation after ruining my first day in London. I could say more about the dining and breakfast... but I'll leave it at that. Five Star Hotel -- One star service."

Zedwell Piccadilly Circus
2/10 Terrible
"Absolutely horrible. They claim minimalism in their style, it's more minimal in what we can do to support you as a patron. Asked for help with the check-in since self check-in couldn't locate our name. The gentleman on the floor basically kept dismissing us. After being awake 27 hours was frustrating The room has nothing .. no iron/ironing board, no closet, no where to store clothing. The bed area and bathroom was separated by a sliding glass door. So hearing and smelling your spouse off load the prior nights indian delicacy.. not fun No windows at all ... That was nuts We had to argue with the staff for additional towels and pillows. The pillows are thin and only 2 for 2 people was miserable with a mattress that had very little support They never cleaned the room Great location though! Never again"

TRIBE Manchester Airport
8/10 Good
"Very easily walkable from station and airport. Restaurant closed at 9pm !!!!! What's that about ??"

CABINN Copenhagen
4/10 Poor
"The location was great. We stayed twice. First was two nights when the TV did not work but as maintenance staff do not work weekends, no one cared. Breakfest was cold/empty shelf. The room was like a cgeap camper with the toilet in the shower. No tossues. Secont stay they kept us waiting from 0820 till 1455 to check in while other clients were checking on earlier."

Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge

President Hotel

"we enjoyed our stay"

Comfort Hotel Xpress Stockholm Central
8/10 Good
"Great location. Easy access to trains and buses. Food available- no breakfast buffet but you can purchase some drinks and food (eg sandwich, panini, yoghurt, fruits etc) from their barception. They also have a very small selection of meal menu if you’re hungry. But there are plenty of other eateries nearby anyway. Room is small. Generally clean enough but there was some unpleasant smell coming out from ventilation grill in some mornings. Cost is cheaper than other hotels. Check-in took a while for me - I booked thru Hotel.com but they couldn’t find the booking when I arrived. Staff helpful and managed to fix it and get me a room."

Wakeup Copenhagen Bernstorffsgade
8/10 Good
"It’s a no frills barebones hotel. Rooms are Small. Rooms are not well maintained but the staff are lovely and it’s well located. Basically. It’s value for money but do not expect luxury"

Strand Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We love the convenient location on the Strand - closeby to Covent Garden’s - surrounded by amenities for shopping - dining - theatres- the staff and check in experience are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Food Restaurant Bar Underground tube - railway - and bus route - 91 to/from Kings Cross- we have used the hotel for 10 years, comfortable beds, rooms spacious, art deco modern and very clean well maintained amenities - Including Rituals, delicious coffee capsules and a quiet room. We generally eat breakfast at the Watch House Covent Garden & visit the nearby Coal Hole pub opposite as we enjoy the live music after a full day of exploring our London events."
