The description of "15 yds from lake" is probably correct BUT lake was nowhere to be seen from the unit, disappointing. Many lovely lakes are not far, however, and my son took me to them. Fresh eggs from their chickens, homemade muffins (Strawberry/Rhubarb), homemade egg, sausage, cheese & grit casserole in the freezer that you can defrost and heat up if you want & fresh fruit. While it is small, it is very nice and cozy and is the perfect stay for anyone wanting to stay in Helen, GA. Will definitely be returning in the future if the good Lord permits."

"This property was perfect for our quick weekend visit to the Hiawassee area. It fit my husband and I and our two teenage kids perfectly, and the owner was easy to communicate with. The location was ideal with a local coffee shop across the street, a local cafe/bar and ice cream shop in the same plaza, and a brewery with amazing views just up the road. Access to local trails and adventures was also key. Would def recommend this property."
