"Not sure why you need your room key to exit the parking garage. You have to get your car out of the garage before checking out???"

"Pros: •Very clean room •Surprisingly comfortable beds and pillows •Friendly, courteous staff •Convenient location if you have a car •Good price Cons: •The hot tub was the same temperature as the pool •By 8:45 AM, breakfast was out of milk, orange juice, and apple juice, and the options were poor - we ended up buying breakfast elsewhere for our kids •No towels at the pool, which we only discovered after swimming •The room had an unpleasant smell - we had to use room spray •Thin walls; we were woken by a neighboring alarm, and a man yelling angrily in the hallway was unsettling •The air conditioner (room 331) was making very loud knocking noises off and on throughout the night like something was wrong with it. This also kept us awake. •The building feels old and run-down despite renovations •Ice machines were not working properly, and had puddles of water around them Overall: Next time, we’ll spend a little more to stay somewhere nicer."

"Started off very poorly. Book this hotel because they offered shuttle service. Took 90 minutes to get the shuttle to pick us up. Front desk held not very much help. Hotel is clean, beds were comfortable. Good for one night but don't depending on their shuttles."

"Beautiful hotel with amazing art and manucured courtyard. Service was average. Had to call to remind them to tur over the room, adult hours at the pool were not properly enforced, spa staff would congregate at the pool and chat instead of picking up towels and cleaning. Found a rusty hairpin in the jacuzzi. Server at the $50/pp afternoon tea seemed like she wanted to get us out ASAP after we elected not to upgrade the set menu. On the positive side the Laurel restaurant and the bonne vie café were fantastic. I was told the spa treatments were great - but I certainly hope so at roughly $200/h… Free yoga was great. In summary it was worth the experience but may elect to try different options to compare when I come back to SLC."

"Everything is awesome here. The rooftop pool has to be one of the coolest parts but amongst all else wonderful place to stay just be prepared to spend a chunk on parking, downtown isn’t the best for this"
