Great staff and good price for somewhere to rest your head. Great view of the Seal Island bridge

No shoes allowed from the front door throughout the hotel. So take some slippers!! The owner makes you feel like you are invading here space and makes you feel like her time is more important than the customers time. There are lots of rules and $100 potential fine if you make a sound or wear your shoes. The owner can be quite sarcastic . Lastly She was upset by the amount paid. I booked online so they set the price not me.

Staff was great . Easy parking . Dinner at hotel was amazing . Beds comfortable

The location is ideal. The hotel is in the process of renovating the building and this distracted from my stay. I was not made aware of the renovations when I booked my room. Too bad. Also, I was under the impression when I booked that parking was included. When I checked out, I was billed for parking. An unanticipated expense.

The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a standard hotel free breakfast. Views from the breakfast room and other areas of the hotel were excellent. Several longterm, very noticeable, maintenance issues need to be addressed. Ceiling tile above the shower was mouldy and damp, sagging down, from a long term leak above. The wall near the shower also showed signs of the leak from the room above. Valance above window broken and sagging above window. The hotel needs maintenance now and rooms in this condition should not be rented.
