8.0 out of 10, Very good, (21 reviews)
"If you are familiar with how small guest houses work, this is a great place. There is no desk on duty everything is self check in. When you book you will receive instructions for opening the door and getting the key for your room. If you are an English speaker the instructions are in Swedish only. Not a drawback if you've done this kind of traveling before. I would give this five stars if there were ensuite bathrooms. They shared bathroom and shower may be off-putting to those who are used to...

"Vi bodde en helg i de nya stugorna på campingen. Väldigt fina! Välplanerade. Två enkelsängar och en stor bäddsoffa. Utsikt mot sjön. Trevlig personal :) Där finns äventyrsgolf, som uppskattades. Den låg uppe på en kulle. Biljardfotbollen var väldigt kul men alldeles för dyrt med 200kr för 1h men lite sumpiga bollar och på sina ställen trasig bana. En kort promenad till badplats med 3 hopptorn :)"

The best area to stay in Norrgårda is the area immediately surrounding Lake Åsnen, particularly the small communities and accommodations located along its eastern and northern shores.

This region offers direct access to the lake and its natural surroundings, known for its tranquil environment and opportunities for outdoor activities. You'll find a scattering of guesthouses, holiday homes, and a few boutique hotels that blend seamlessly with the landscape. The general layout is rural, with properties often having private jetties or views of the water.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will find this area ideal. The focus here is on relaxation and connecting with nature. You can enjoy quiet walks through the nearby forests, go kayaking or fishing on the lake, or simply unwind with a book by the water. Many accommodations offer amenities like private saunas or hot tubs, great for a romantic escape.

Families will also appreciate the space and activities available. Properties often come with gardens and outdoor areas for children to play. The lake provides opportunities for swimming, cycling along designated paths, or exploring the Åsnen National Park which is easily accessible from these shores.
