« We arrived at Country Inn and for 2nights were please in general, by the beautiful hall! Sadly, no machine for beverages worked, on top of that, AT the reception fridge for them neither, coke warm, needed to go get the Ice , not fun, and We needed corkscrew for our wine, réception had none! Juste the small things! :-( the pool was warm, very tiny spa also but not hot enough and they opened Doors to let humidity out, brrrrr....please get a good ventilation for this hôtel, IT will help! « Great staff. »

« While the manager was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice/ clean. For the amount of money we paid we expected better especially after finding out other people came to the property the night we checked in and stay was 1/4 of what we paid. We might not use Expedia the next trip to Athens since we apparently we overpaid compared to other places. »

« This place was a welcome surprise. It' s not in my favorite part of town, but it was clean, newly refurbished and the bed was incredibly comfy. A great deal to had here. »

« Hotel is undergoing renovations and on its way to being updated on 9/27/26. When we arrived, we thought they were closed by the black tarp in the foyer on the other side of the entry way. We were able to call and got the front desk who talked us in. Hot tub was warm and bubbling, not very hot. Shower had adequate pressure and got warm quickly. Bed was comfortable and the room had recently been done. Smelled very clean. Facility not far from the interstate. Feel it is a good place to stay....

« The best location in Athens, super helpful and welcoming staff, and a delicious breakfast buffet. Couldn’t ask for more! We walked everywhere downtown… didn’t need a car once. »

« The first floor room had a musty smell in it but overall was clean. The bathroom could use updating--door was scratched up, shower a bit discolored and sink had wear and tear. Bedding and room overall felt clean. Location was 10-20 minutes from University of Georgia--mostly due to traffic as distance is not far. Breakfast was reasonable. »

« Everything was perfect!!!! »

« Great people friendly staff »

« Wouldn’t stay there again if there were other options »

« This hotel is so run down and dirty. Our non smoking room smelled like cigarettes and dirty feet. The toilet wouldn’t flush & when we went to check the flusher the tank was covered in black mold. The carpets are super dirty too. With the insane amount they charge on UGA game weekends, you’d think they could deep clean, paint, repair it. Also, even though check out is at 11am, your key stops working early in the morning of check out. So if you even go to your car for something, it will take a...

« It's a very well maintained property, very clean and neat. Amenities (breakfast, snacks, soda, water, beer, wine) are great and staff extremely nice (and available). Room (Ivey) was just what we needed, retro decoration, nice bed, large bathroom. Location is great (S. Milledge). Close to University (walkable), can walk to several restaurants and close to sororities/fraternities, but not within hearing distance. Would highly recommend for an upper scale visit to Athens or UGA »
