The best area to stay in Noon-Gol is the vicinity of Jeonju Hanok Village, which offers an authentic cultural experience alongside modern conveniences.

This area is the heart of Noon-Gol's cultural offerings, characterised by its beautifully preserved traditional Korean houses, known as hanok. The village is largely pedestrianised, with narrow streets winding past artisan workshops, tea houses, and small eateries. Key landmarks include the Gyeonggijeon Shrine and the Jeonju Hyanggyo Confucian School, both within easy walking distance.

Couples looking for a romantic and culturally rich getaway will find this area particularly appealing. You can stay in a refurbished hanok guesthouse, offering a unique blend of traditional architecture with modern comforts. Evenings can be spent enjoying traditional Korean performances or simply strolling through the softly lit village streets.

For travellers who appreciate convenience and a slightly more contemporary setting while still being close to the cultural attractions, the area just outside the Hanok Village, particularly around Pungnammun Gate, is an excellent option.

The best time to visit Noon-Gol is during spring (April to May) or autumn (September to October) for pleasant weather and beautiful scenery.
