The lobby is smaller than I thought, but a comfy place to relax. The staff weren't really welcoming, though. (Probably because we were foreigners?) Rooms are spacious with incredible views and food is excellent. Nice spa but gym is too small and lacks equipment. Ski in ski out except when gondola doesn’t work because of high winds ( tends to happen often). The staff was excellent, professional and attentive. We enjoyed our stay and all its amenities and delicious food. The property is far from the village, dining and shopping area, which is fine, probably part of the charm. However, the ski in /ski out was limited... various days during our stay the lifts that connect the hotel to the rest of the mountain were closed due to strong winds. Therefore came the hassle to get around the ski resort. Transportation to and from the hotel to Niseko village is scarce. You either need to catch a crowded bus with a limited schedule or reserve a private car, which is not always available. Most times you need to book a ride a day in advance. It’s perfect for family ski trip. The lift was a few steps away and rental facilities were inside the hotel. The views were spectacular and the staff so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant food was really good, and we loved their breakfast buffet.
