Completely renovated in 2014 with quality materials and modern facilities: Central air conditioning, home theater, equipped kitchen, mini-bar, Italian shower, sauna, 100% LEDs lighting, wireless broadband. Ideally located for exploring everything Nice: its curiosities, history, baroque churches, colorful markets. The studio is located at: \- 50 m from Saleya Course \- 50 m from City Hall \- 50 m from the Prefecture \- 50 m from the Opera \- 100 meters from the Massena Place and the Green Casting \- 100 m from the sea and the Promenade des Anglais \- 500 m from the Castle Hill in Nice and the Old Port \- Access to the tram is 100 m, and the Nice train station is 15 minutes’ walk. The apartment is surrounded by hundreds of shops and restaurants. Several parking garages under 1 minutes’ walk. Proche de tout, du vieux Nice, de la plage, de la place Masséna etc. La location était vraiment propre, fonctionnelle, bien équipée. On a apprécié l’ensemble et avons eu un très bon contact avec Sonia qui a géré notre arrivée et notre départ. On recommande vraiment. Pour ceux qui ont peur du bruit de la vie nocturne c’est effectivement présent mais vraiment minime. On est en centre ville avec du double vitrage et une climatisation. Que dire... c'était parfait tout simplement :-) L'annonce reflète exactement la réalité. Remise des clés rapide et très agréable. Le studio est vraiment fonctionnel, bien isolé et il est idéalement placé dans le vieux Nice. On se sent chez nous par rapport aux hôtels aussi grâce au fait de pouvoir cuisiner rapidement des produits du marché Saleya qui se situe juste à coté. La rue calme vient d'être refaite et tout sent le propre et le neuf. Quand au vieux Nice, c'est vraiment un petit bout d'Italie, hors du temps avec sa promenade à 3mn à pied. ##### Philippe C. It is very well appointed with almost everything you need; dishwasher, microwave, stove top, fridge, freezer, fully stocked cooking utensils, air conditioner, washing machine, ironing board and iron. The shower was our only area of concern inside. Luggage racks would have been helpful but there was a generous closet. The location was excellent - in the heart of old town and close to everything. We arrived on a Thursday and the problem was the noise from outside - cars, motorcycles, trucks and people continuing until 4 am - only on the Sunday evening was the street quiet. We recognize this is beyond the owners control. Andre and Sonia were both very responsive and helpful. If you can sleep with earplugs, I would recommend this apartment. ##### Lois L. There’s great street food in the area and also Michelin level places. The communication was probably the biggest hit though. Got a problem? Got an answer. It’s 11:00 pm and you can’t figure something out. The manager responds promptly. The bad part comes here. It is an older building. The pipes don’t have pee traps and vents so the apartment had a bad smell to it when it heated up. We had issues with the AC cutting off every 4-6 hours or so. Easy access to the metro and a fun neighborhood to explore on foot. The unit was clean and stocked with the utensils we needed. It was near just about everything. Restaurants, shops, train stops, the beach. Unfortunately, I found the property was extremely dusty. When I smacked the bed, dust flew up. The restroom had a musty, moldy smell that we were never able to get rid of, and the towels all smelled equally as bad. I ended up buying towels to use while I was there. We tried leaving the door open. In fact the last three days we were there we left the windows cracked open to let some of that smell out. I tried washing them, but it didn’t help much. The windows to the street are wonderful but at night they don’t block out all the noise. It’s extremely noisy. There’s a lot of people partying until all hours of the night and you hear all of it; cars coming by everything. And the curtains let in all the light. I should mention there is a light post right outside the window. My recommendations to the property management would be to invest in blackout curtains, thick enough to blockout the light and cancel a little bit of the noise as well for a better sleep. Only use white linens throughout, the bed linens and the towels in the bathrooom. I worked for Hilton for 15 years white linens, always look cleaner and are more attractive because most of the time you can tell if they’re dirty. The linens on the bed were a brown fitted sheet, no flat sheet, and a red comforter. The towels in the bathroom were dark brown. We also DID NOT reach out to anyone. We were so close to the beach made our little sandwiches and walked over for lunch. The area is very lively which is nice you feel safe. Many places to eat, party and explore around.
