Beautiful historical home. Spacious house. Very good communication. Well stocked with essential items
We enjoyed relaxing in the house after days of sightseeing, aquarium exploring, Maid of the Mist ride, and drenching at Cave of the Winds.
Thank you for allowing us to stay!
Brautiful home, lots of charm and character. Convenient to everything. Lots of room to spread out and relax. Fun trip. Don't let the area worry you. We felt totally safe and nobody gave us any slight thought of being scared or afaid. Had great tours. Fortunas for dinner is a must do!
We enjoyed our stay at The Mint. Was a short two minute drive to the Falls and Rainbow Bridge. The house was exactly as listed, and the pictures didn't do it justice. So much room for everyone to spread out and had was furnished with beautiful but comfortable furniture. The owner was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. If we are ever up near the Falls again, we would definitely stay at The Mint!
A great hub for our girls trip to enjoy the Falls and wineries. Owners were quick to respond when we blew a breaker. Thatās what happens when you have six ladies getting ready at the same time! Previous reviews mentioned the neighborhood was sketchy, but we felt safe. highly recommend.

Very nice home
Loved the old fashioned feel of the home. Very clean. Very nice property owners. The only concern we had was the location. We didn't have any problems at all at the house, but we aren't used to living in a diverse city community.
We enjoyed our stay. The house was huge, and it was nice to have space to spread out after traveling in a cramped car. Neighborhood was just as described in listing but didnāt feel unsafe. It was so great to get to all the Niagara sites by just walking a few blocks. It was a little sad to see all the abandoned places in town due to the decline in population, so I am glad we could support revitalization of the area. It was a bonus to have a washer/dryer there too.
My family loved the house. Lots of wood beams and floors. Diverse furniture that warmed our hearts. Great layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Carroll replied promptly when the probate tank was empty and a full tank was installed within a short period of time. Easy access to the aquarium and trolleys; and walking distance to Canada.
The only downfall was the abandoned and run down houses in the area. No issues with anyone in the area.

good spot near the Falls
We were a family of ten, six adults and 4 children. the bunk beds were a hit with the kids for sure. there is an awkward bath that a hallway goes through, but it worked out ok. The neighborhood is hit and miss in a slow to gentrify area. We never felt insecure or afraid. second time staying in this area of the falls for us, so we were aware of our surroundings. Alley parking was convenient.
additional towels could be made available when there is a week stay and there is no W/D and more illumination in Living room would be appreciated.
Overall a pleasant stay.
Owners were easy to communicate with.
Spacious downstairs rooms for enjoying family time. Great layout for flexibility in sleeping needs of group. Good kitchen for meal preps. Clean, welcoming and a delight yo spend time in. Perfect for families.
We really had the privilege of staying in this historical house. It is fascinating and stimulating for those who appreciate history and architecture. It took use a while to comprehend and navigate through the two stories house. Very clean and plenty of space and furniture. Carroll was very welcoming and cooperative, answered all our questions and inquired about the house and the neighborhood. If We come back again to the area, we will not hesitate to select this house for our stay if it is available. Our best regards and wishes.
We loved this house. It was big, comfortable and homey for our family. The owners did a great job fixing it back up. The original woodwork and other turn of the century elements of the house are beautiful. The owners were wonderful, friendly and responsive. The location was convenient with easy walks and short drives. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Carroll and Andre!
The house was perfect for our family of 8. Lots of space and the house was so cute! We would definitely stay here again. The home was very clean and well kept.
The only negative I would share is that I would not walk to the property after dark. Some areas between the falls and the house are a bit sketchy.
This was one of the best vacations I have I have her been on. We were privileged to stay at The Mint for two weeks where many memories were created. We never ran out of daytime adventures or tired of playing games in the evening. 10 people easily stayed in the home with plenty of space to spare. Beds were very comfy. Carroll and Andre were perfect hosts. They were able to help us quickly when needed but gave us our space if not. The house was well equipped for all our needs. Being able to walk to Niagara Falls State Park, the Aquarium , the shuttle and the trolley made our adventures easy without paying for parking. Coming from rural Wisconsin, I was a little nervous about the reports of the neighborhood. However we never had a single issue. I am thankful there are people who are revitalizing this important place in the United States.
5 of us stayed for 2 nights at The Mint. The house was spacious and there was plenty of space for us all to hang out together. Check-in and out were so easy. There is ample room for three cars in the back. Carroll and Andre have done a great job rehabbing this house and several others. I grew up in the area and the last time I visited Niagara Falls I was so sad to see how far it had deteriorated. Thanks to people like Carroll and Andre the area is improving. I look forward to my next visit and more exciting things in the future.
The home was perfectly located for our family from Massachusetts and Indiana to meet and enjoy the close proximity to the awesome Niagara Falls and its many adventures. The Aquarium is one block away and we visited it daily.
Although the house is not handicap accessible, my 87 year old mother made it up and down the front porch stairs and was able to sleep on an air mattress in the library. All bedrooms are on the second floor. We had plenty of room for the 10 of us, ranging from 8 years old to 87 years old.
My favorite is standing under the Falls on the hurricane deck of the Cave of the Winds. Grandma had not been to the Falls in 50 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were able to rent her a wheelchair at a kiosk on the same block as the Hard Rock Cafe, before you enter the park. She used her walker and the elevators to get to the Maid of the Mist.
Our Granddaughters, 8 & 11 yeays old, had never been here, so they enjoyed it all, and even helped push their Great-grandma around.
We mostly ate at the house, great and easy access to grocery and restaurants.
The property was clean, the location is walking distance, a matter of blocks, from the Seneca Resort and Casino, the Niagara Falls State Park, and the Aquarium.
The property owner was very nice, allowing us to have visitors, I grew up in the Finger Lakes, this was very important to me, and we are very grateful to Carroll.
From outside you cannot tell how big the house actually is. The upstairs connect from both front and back of the home. There are plenty of board games for the kids. Grocery stores, a bakery, and the laundromat are a short ride away. We did not need for anything.
Just a great overall experience.
