Surprisingly Good
We went for a sport's tournament and found this place last minute. I was pleasantly surprised. It is definitely an old dorm feel and a little on the dark side. However, the service was outstanding, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, and it was exceptionally clean despite the age. It was the most cost efficient place around.

I had not realized it was also a college dorm when I was searching, the lot access or more to the point exiting is lacking, a tour bus for whatever reason parked at the entrance and blocked the only way in and out, an exit only would be handy for those moments, let alone some signage for buses to drop off from an adjacent lot nearby, also signage to indicate this is in fact the place, I followed Waze and didn't note anything that indicated this was in fact the location. Staff behind the counter was helpful, I was astonished there were no paper towels or napkins that could be from my south of the border biased expectations as this was my first time to Canada.

Front desk staff was really welcoming and even though we arrived before the scheduled check in time, they accommodated us, since our room was ready. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable with crisp linens. A big thank you to everyone.

The room that I was given was damp (and the carpet was that way) on the first floor, and the shower was VERY worn....could not tell if it was clean, but there was mildew along the top. Some upgrades should be done on the showers. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The room was as expected for what I reserved. Only thing I wasn’t happy about was I got a parking ticket on my truck and I had a parking permit for my two day stay. Not sure how the moron didn’t see it right beside my handicap permit.

The place was get bit noisy around 11:30p. After informing the reception they dealt to maintain the quite hours. Appreciated their help. Place was clean and good to stay with families. Will come again for staying.

In need of cleaning and renovation! Not a Hotel!!
Pubic hair in shower, beard hair all over the sink, mold above the shower. this is not a hotel it's a dorm that they run as hotel in summer. Def not worth $100 night and the drive was a long one to it. Does feel like safe area. Very loud and mattress is hard as a rock. Very tiny bathroom! If you want just a place to shower and sleep not comfy for few hours it's ok but not much other than that. Very rundown building!! Good if you're on a very low budget

It is a student residence so it’s typical dorm room with bathroom and kitchenette. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Definitely worth it if you’re on a budget.

This place is NOT a hotel, it is a dingy school dorm that resembles a jail cell. The black mold and drop tiles in the bathroom, filthy floor, and dirty carpet over concrete was repulsive. Everything smelled like a locker room. The beds were rock hard, bolted to the wall and definitely not queen-sized. The bathroom and shower was ridiculously small, making it impossible to bathe children without getting drenched. The kitchenette was a joke, lacking basic appliances, plates, utensils, or even soap. Safety was also a concern with no internal door latch, only relying on an electronic lock. It's not family friendly or suitable for children. The fact that students pay to live like that is shocking. Save yourself the dorm/jail cell experience and find anywhere else to stay.

I would like to let you know that we outline in our booking confirmation all of our rooms have double beds and that we do not include any cookware, dishes or utensils. As we are hotel alternative (student residence September - April), It sounds like this was not the fit for you and your family. I am sorry that we did not meet you needs.

It is a great place for short trips. You get a dorm room with two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each. Works great as an overnight place. Will definitely use again if I am visiting Welland or St. Cathareines.
