Bonus was location and close to beach
BAthrooms Tiny. Basically had to shower in toilet Reception had a funky smell. At times had no water in rooms. Wifi was the worst. Most of the time didn't work. People need to smile more. Either unhappy or unfriendly. Could not figure out which. Bonus was in a good location

Building site !!!
Wow, you couldn't make it up have bad this place was. The hotel is an actual construction site. The entire ground floor is undergoing extensive building work, i.e the entire front wall and entrance is missing. As a result the reception has been relocated to a shoddy temporary set up next to what is the dinning area, come resturant. The absence of a sealed entrance mean that the lobby, resturant and internal atrium was suffocating due to the heat and humidity. The humidity gives rise to additional issues, such as the damp smell throughout. The room was ok, but the view was of the adjacent hotel's swimming pool, also under construction. the only redeeming I would say was its location. I would strongly recommend that you consider elsewhere when saying in nha trang.

This hotel was built with not much thoughts. It's fine for couples but absolutely not good for anyone else. Why are they building almost see through bathrooms ? if you travel with old enough children, brother/sister,mom/son, dad/daughter or friends, it can be very uncomfortable. How do you feel doing number 2 in the bathroom and other person in the room can see what you are doing in the bathroom ? terrible planning. Also, why would you put carpet in the room in a tropical climate? so humid and dirty feeling.

Good location
We were a group of 20 with 5 families and booked a range of rooms. Mer Perle Sea Sun is in a great location -just down a side road across the road from the beach. The upper end rooms are huge and are good for a family. Some rooms were noisy some nights due to karaoke bars nearby. Staff were very helpful and booked restaurants etc for us. We had an unpleasant experience at the Spa on the 9th floor but when I spoke to the receptionist about it she was shocked and sympathetic but explained that it was not run by the hotel. Don't go near it. The hotel (and the whole town!) is popular with Russians.

The Merperles location was very good but found the street noise and construction noise very loud. The buffet breakfast was very poor catering mainly for Russian people. The front desk staff were lovely but found the restaurant manager very unfriendly. The pool is nothing like the picture on website. We had a luxury suite and a suite and found them very spacious and clean. Bathroom lay out was poor and towels paper thin. Would not recommend.

I stayed only one night. The room was on third floor. The room smells like from the sewer. I would not recommend to anyone. If you want to stay this hotel. Should ask for higher than fifth floor.

Good hotel close to everything in town
Had a great experience with the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Need more towels in the rooms the bathroom is a wet room. Water goes everywhere. Not a fan of the opaque glass. Do not wish to see my friends on the toilet.

Average Hotel in Russian District of Nha Trang
The hotel was located centrally in the "Russian District" of Nha Trang. The most impressive thing about the hotel was the great breakfast. It had a great selection (hot, cold, fruits, etc). The hotel afforded a short 2 minte walk to the beach and night market along with easy access to the tourist area resteraunts. The room was spacious and well appointed, although felt very dated - the carpets especially looked uncleaned. The front desk staff were cordial but were not extremely welcoming as experienced elsewhere in Vietnam.

An older hotel, but maintained okay! Big rooms, goog bathrooms, good breakfast, sun roof pool, close to the beach 1/2 bloc, but noisy intersection and a new hotel is being build hiding half the view for the ocean! Good quality for the price ($55/night). Staff will help you with daily trips at the same price as on the web, or to book a scooter.

This hotel needs some updates.
This hotel is in a great location to the beach. Has a beautiful roof top swimming pool and a buffet breakfast with quite the variety of food choices. The staff were very helpful. We choose this hotel for location and roof side pool. Unfortunately, this hotel is outdated. There is carpeting in each of the rooms that should be removed as they are stained, a damaged. When we first entered our room there was an odor. We asked the staff if there was something they could do about it and the following day there was a considerable different. The bathroom is fully glassed in, glass has water spots on it. The cleaning staff does not clean the glass nor do they vacuum the carpets everyday. The rooms are a good size, has a bar fridge, coffee, tea, water provided daily. There are many cheaper hotels, without pools however we would probably stay here again and hope that the hotel will work to update the rooms.

Good place, would recommend .
Our stay was good but would recommend to book the bigger rooms "suite" as they are spacious. Unfortunately they are building right next door which was very noisy as they work day and night. Also the Sail-club on the beach has late night party's and the techno music is loud till very late specially at the weekends. Overall this hotel is good to stay at..... although expensive for the area. Tip: If you want good food at a very good price go right when you leave the hotel and a few shops down you will find "Olivia"....great food and you have to try their pizza's !!

Beautiful beach view
Across the street from the beach pretty much as close as you can get. Roof top pool view of the ocean. My daughter and I loved the location not only close to the beach but wonderful restaurants. We only booked 1 night through hotels. Con to see how we liked it and ended up adding 5 more nights. The extra nights we were required to pay cash- the only annoyance that we encountered we just loved it

A good place to stay in Nha Trang
Rooms were big and airy we just about see the sea, (room not sold with sea view) Hotel was very comfortable and near to the cafe des amis an excellent eatery, Staff helpful and friendly but some struggled with their English. We were disapointed by the standard of cleaning in our room (4th Floor) Paper and dirt stayed on the floor from before our arrival to after we left. In fairness other guests on other floors said their rooms were very clean, (lazy member of staff?)

STAY HERE
This hotel was excellent. Brilliant location, close to beach and bars/night-life. The room and en-suite was amazing, very comfortable and clean and the staff very helpful, even letting me use the internet behind the desk when the free computers were tied up by facebooking children! Swimming pool lovely and the roof-top terrace had lots of shade and sunshine spots.

Beautiful hotel with a great location opposite the beach with good views from most rooms. Room was a reasonable size with a glass bathroom in one corner. Breakfast had a good selection but hot food was not that hot. Was within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and bars. Staff were very helpful.

Delux Room at Sea and Sun
We booked the hotel's deluxe room thinking that since it was the best room we would be happy with it but what a disastrous decision that was. The noise from the Sailing Club every night was so bad that we were awake half the night and in fact only managed to get 3 breakfasts during the 22 nights we were staying in the hotel as we slept until 10am. Despite being in my 60's I now know all of the current favourite club anthems as they blared each night and even drowned out the sound on the TV until the early hours of the morning! The deluxe rooms are directly across from the club and in a worse position than the standard rooms. After complaining the manager moved us to the same room on a higher floor but there was little if any difference to the noise level. After another couple of nights we complained again and he offered to move us out of Nha Trang to the HonSan resort but we did not want to leave Nha Trang as we have friends there and declined this offer. I know that this resort is very expensive and feel that the offer confirms that the manager knew how genuine our complaint was.We had the Karaoke room next door which was not a problem most nights as the room is soundproofed but on one evening at just around 6 oclock the noise of shouting and many drunk men hanging around the corridor with very young ladies went on for an hour and we complained again. Staff informed us they were "Taxi girls" ie for hire. The karaoke was stopped eventually but this all made us feel extremely uncomfortable. At no time were we offered a refund and we were glad to leave the hotel. We had to ask for the bath to be cleaned as the cleaners did not cleaned it for a week. This hotel completely spoiled our 3 weeks in Nha Trang. On the morning we left we were presented with a bill for around 150000 dong for a couple of cans of coke and some nuts from the mini bar which we refused to pay despite having used them. We instead presented the staff with 18 pairs of breakfast vouchers for those breakfasts we missed as we slept late due to being awake until 2 3 and sometime 4am.. They then agreed to waiver the fee for the mini bar. Big deal!! I would not stay in the hotel again even if it was free. The only positive thing I can say is staff were all very polite and friendly.

We all loved this hotel. We had a cute little balcony in both rooms where we could look out over the sea and beach side activities. There were plenty of options for dining nearby. We would have preferred to have a longer stay here as it was more central to the activity in Nha Trang.

This hotel was great, an excellent location, across the road from the beach and lots of surrounding restaurants. It was very clean and the service from reception was good. The 'wet room' style bathroom took a little getting used to- everything gets soaked when you have a shower, but it dries quickly. The only downside during our stay was the noise from other guests.

We stayed 4 nights in the Hon Tam Sea and Sun hotel as part of a holiday touring around Vietnam. The rooms are nice and comfortable and there is a lovely rooftop pool. The location is also very good; close to the beach and bars and restaurants. All in all it is good value but it is a bit noisy and the breakfast isn't great.

Really loved this hotel and it was one of the better ones we'd stayed at during our travels. Good price and great service. Loved their breakfast. Rooms were very comfortable and bathroom was spacious (not sure if we were just lucky or if all rooms are like that)! Great location to get to beach and restaurants around.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights during our travels through Vietnam. We found this hotel because we had planned on staying at their sister property for 2 evenings during our anniversary. Hon Tam Sea and Sun Hotel is beautiful. We stayed in a suite, very spacious, modern and clean, with an amazing view from our balcony on the 7th floor. The hotel is located across the street from the beach and next to a bustling tourist area with an excess of restaurants. The staff was very helpful and arranged for us to be transported to their other property, Hon Tam Eco Green Resort, which is accessible by boat. Beautiful hotel and great staff!!

this hotel was clean with a great rooftop pool and views. it was very central and did have a little bit of noise from the club across the road. it has modern bathrooms and airconditioning. very large room and extremely comfortable
