"Bed ,linens, pillows were excellent.Sink drain very slow .Shower was very slow , not enough pressure but hot.Towels were not good."

"Basically what you'd expect for the price. Nothing fancy, no frills. Hotel looks its age. But it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Easy parking. Front desk staff was nice a check in. Hot shower, but drain plug was removed, so no tub, and the towels were worn & stringy. Great location--easy access to 95 or Boston Post Road. "

"I have never been in such a horrible filthy unprofessional hotel. Everything was horrible filthy and totally unacceptable Could not check in on time Personnel at front desk were rude, chatted with each other ignoring the guests waiting in line. They also had signs in plain view of patrons that should not have been displayed. They had conversations with cleaning staff that were also inappropriate for patrons to hear. Rooms were filthy: Floors were sticky Furniture dirty Bedding smelled Bathroom not cleaned well Cooling system smelled nasty when it was on Microwave, refrigerator and coffee units were not clean Free complimentary breakfast was disgusting. I took pictures in case somebody wanted to see what the room looked disgusting I am requesting a full refund for this stay!"

"The staff, Eric, was incredibly rude to both myself and any guest I saw him interact with. They were without hot water when I arrived in the afternoon and there was still no hot water the next morning. I requested that they cancel the rest of my days and refund me for those days as I did not want to continue staying somewhere with no hot water. Eric told me he couldn't do that and acted like us guests were fools for expecting hot water at a hotel we paid to stay at. Luckily my partner convinced Eric he could do something about it. They let me down but hotels.com never lets me down and they helped take care of everything for me. Also, I looked at reviews after the fact and there were plenty of reviews from a month ago also talking about this hotel not having hot water."

"Our room was noisy, police sirens every 5 minutes through the night combined with a broken air vent, the motor was making very loud screeching noises. We requested service and nothing was done about it. The area (Yale) is a true eye opening experience that was unexpected. We were approached by beggars for money to buy alcohol within 15 seconds of walking out of the hotel, the public transit (across the street) is dirty and trash on the street everywhere. Making a change in the community starts at home Yale administrators and students! How do you walk outside and don’t see that action even a very small one can brighten the day and start a better future in your own neighborhood! I was appalled by the neglect and obvious blind eye to the need in this area! I didn’t sleep but briefly after I bought earplugs at the CVS where even chocolate and toothpaste were under locked plastic cases. I feel spoiled in New Orleans and never thought I’d ever say this. The best part of our stay were the maid service, they are amazing, sweet, attentive and should be paid a fortune for the excellent etiquette of service and job they do every day! I would not return to this area or hotel since good sleep is my way to start a great new day."
