The Space:  
Tiny Hideaway at Cloverhills by Tiny Away sits in the tranquil town of Newham, in the Shire of Macedon Ranges. We are only an hour drive from Melbourne, nearby Trentham Falls, Hanging Rock Victoria, Hanging Rock Winery, and Mount Madedon Winery are a few of the attractions in the area.  
  
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home features a lofted queen-sized bed, a convertible single-bed couch on the ground floor, easy access to water, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.  
  
IMPORTANT NOTE: This off-grid tiny home runs on solar power. Please conserve energy and use it only when necessary to avoid outages.  
  
Guest Access:  
Guests can access the tiny home and its surrounding areas, including the dam.  
  
\- Please bring your own firewood  
\- In winter, pack warm clothes and footwear; contact the host for extra bedding.  
\- If you're bringing a horse, please inform the host 24 hours in advance, as boarding fees and policies may apply.

Tiny Hideaway at Cloverhills by Tiny Away is a charming tiny home located in the Shire of Macedon Ranges, surrounded by stunning rural landscapes, eucalyptus and pine forests, and close to the famous Hanging Rock.   
  
From here, Newham’s holiday homes offer easy access to popular Macedon Ranges attractions such as Hanging Rock Winery with its vineyards and hiking trails, the scenic Forest Glade Gardens, the historic Mount Macedon Memorial Cross, Mount Macedon Winery known for its wood-fired pizza, and Trentham Waterfalls—ideal spots for picnics and forest walks.  
  
Getting Around:  
By car: 1 hour from Melbourne   
 5 mins to Hanging Rock  
 15 mins to Lancefield/Woodend/Kyneton  
  
Other Things to Note:  
\- Quiet hours 10 pm-7 am  
\- No smoking on the property  
\- Solar-powered / Off-grid unit  
\- No AC but fans are installed inside  
\- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed  
\- Diesel heater is free to use to keep guests warm  
\- Outdoor fire pit is available for guests to use ; BBQ is allowed  
\- Mobile reception is good for Telstra while other networks may not be steady  
\- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge  
\- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.

\- Please charge devices in advance, bring portable power banks, and conserve energy to power outages during low-light days.

\- No BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits during a total fire ban  
\- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property  
\- Avoid wearing open-toed shoes outdoors, as snakes are common in the grassland areas.  
\- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.

We stayed for an overnight trip re 4 year old birthday. Also bought our dog. We visited Hanging Rock and Macedon- so visited some spectacular places. We really enjoyed the campfire and switching off. We lucked out with the weather and no fire restrictions. If it’s bad weather it could be a little uncomfortable with no veranda outside- but if you bought your own you might be fine. We had one adult sleep downstairs with the toddler as it was a bit dangerous for him upstairs re the low rail. Otherwise it was quite lovely.

#### Beautiful nature hideaway 

I stayed just one night at the tiny house and wish I was there for more. The space is simple but had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed sitting outside listening to the birds and watching all the wildlife come and go. The house is well equipped with an outdoor bbq and indoor kitchen. The shower worked well and bed is comfy. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

#### Serenity, Relaxation, Comfortable

Although the weather was not perfect the stay was more than comfortable. Switching off was made easy with zero electronics but with a usb output/s to leave the phone on charge and escape. Firestarters at hand to light the pit, easy to use bbq for dinner and plenty of space for myself and my dog. Not too mention the olace overseas a lake which he also enjoyed. I cant reccomend this place enough and Laureen was more than helpful with directions and anything else needed. Ill be back! Thank you

Lovely, quiet, peaceful place to unwind from life’s stresses. The tiny house was very cosy for just myself and my Cavoodle. On my travels to the tiny house, Laureen was in contact and made sure I had plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The fire was beautiful! Will definitely return!

We had a really relaxing night with our dog Sunny who loved the dam and walking around the space. You really feel like your are in the middle of nature with all the birds, frogs and beautiful trees. Definitely recommend for a relaxing night in the country.

If you're from the city, you'll find this stay very novel. A very cute little place. Unfortunately our dog wasn't allowed off leash due to horses in the next paddock with no fencing - but that's part of dog ownership. A lovely little place in a great part of the world.

#### Beautiful Escape from the City

The Tiny Home is kept immaculately. It's in a beautiful location only 1 hours out of the city, that’s in the middle of countryside and wildlife. It is private and quiet which is just what we wanted. We took our 2 pups and the loved the space around the property and they were safe to rome.

Excellent directions very clear and easy to follow. The location is beautiful. Love the pond and the frogs sang me to sleep. Laureen sends timely messages so you know your code & direction before you need them. The tiny house is very clean and comfy. Will book again.

Everything you could need to be comfortable in a tiny home in a beautiful bush setting with your own little lake. We'd happily stay again- hopefully when the weather is better so we can take advantage of the gorgeous location. Thanks Laureen!

#### Lovely stay

Our host Laureen was lovely and very accommodating! Left us fresh farm eggs and even sent us several names and numbers when I asked for recommendations for a place to go for a trail ride. The tiny house was just like the pictures! We brought a marquee which was a great idea as we were still able to enjoy being outside while it was raining. One thing I would bring in future is a hot plate for the BBQ as there were only the bars which prevented us from cooking a few things - not a problem as we just adapted our plan to the indoor kitchen but we would bring something with a flat surface for next time. Would definitely recommend this accommodation!

#### Lovely stay and enjoyed the surrounding area

Had a fabulous 2 nights including with our dog (who enjoyed the water). Definitely worth checking out Hanging Rock Vineyard and the Lancefield Hotel for a meal (both within 10 mins drive away and dogs are no problem).

#### Beautiful, peaceful, private, comfortable

Had a wonderful time. The place is in a divine location. Very private and serene. The house is comfty and well stocked. Only feedback is that some storage for guests would be nice. There’s literally nowhere to put your bags away - which isn’t ideal in a tiny space. Would have been great if the host left cupboard under the stairs empty for guests to use. Or made extra storage above, under or next to the couch. All in all we were very happy and the host was very generous and communicative. We’d 100% come back.

#### Overnight at Tiny Hideaway

One night at this Tiny House was not really enough to absorb the atmosphere but we did enjoy it. It was probably not big enough for 3 adults, two would be much better. The only other thing I would comment on is that the house does hav a gas stove top which I don't think was mentioned in the info sent. I would highly recommend the Tiny House for a couple who want a lot of peace and quiet and enjoy nature.

#### A Tiny Escape

The Tiny House was a wonderful experience. The facilities and cleanliness of the dwelling was perfect for our overnight stay. A very relaxing escape and the owner’s communication was lovely. The General store is 5 mins away (car) for a nice coffee. Hanging rock is a beautiful spot to visit while you stay. Thanks for having us.

This was a lovely getaway stay, was easy to follow instructions and find and very quiet location, just the birds and the crickets all night. We loved the set up, it was comfortable and cosy for two and beautiful dam to have a coffee in the morning. Would highly recommend for a night stay!
