Gorgeous property with lovely owners
We loved our stay here. After a horrible nine hour journey we were pretty miserable when we arrived. However, when we saw the cottage we were delighted! The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. It’s well maintained, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfy too.
We were delighted to see the goats out the front the next morning and raced out to chat to them 😀
The owners are really friendly and can’t do enough for you. If we can face the journey again we will be back and for longer!

A beautiful barn conversion with everything you could need- great host
The conversion was amazing and we had a really lovely stay, great location to visit local scenery at Kielder Forest and Sycamore Gap.
The beds were extremely comfortable, well equipped kitchen and even a small box of toys which my daughter loved.
Communication from the owners was brilliant and i will defintely be recommending to friends and family.

Letting Mother Nature sooth our troubled brow
What is there not to like when staying at this delightful barn conversion! From the quality of all the furnishings and equipment, to the spacious living and bedroom areas. We enjoyed our long leisurely alfresco breakfasts surrounded stunning countryside and the peace that provided. Can't wait until we return, which we will.

Family Break At The Croft
We had a wonderful 5-day family break at The Croft. The accommodation was lovely; modern, spacious and well equipped. The location was very peaceful and only a short drive to local attractions. Steve was the perfect host who responded to our enquiry very promptly. We would definitely visit this property again and would highly recommend to others looking for a family break.

A real gem
The Croft was perfect and exactly as described. Very functional but also beautifully decorated. The living room was especially stunning with it's high ceiling (and the mezzanine floor was a big hit with our teenage daughter!).
The owner was extremely helpful (even allowing us to accommodate some extra family members at very short notice for one evening) and responsive to queries before and during our stay. The property has a lovely feel - with a field of (very quiet) goats across the drive and a friendly farmyard cat. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer! Would highly recommend

Excellent location, quiet and secluded. Owners are there to help but always giving you full privacy. The cottage is of a high standard with all the necessary requirements for a self catering vacation for adults or families with children.
The location is also perfect for walks/tours of lakes, castles, forests, farms, zoos and beaches; ofcourse a car is essential.

Beautiful cottage
We had a short break at the Croft while competing at the nearby Belsay Horse Trials. Cottage is very well equipped and it's lovely that two bedrooms and bathrooms are at ground floor level- ideal for elderly grandparents.
Steve was very helpful and provided everything we needed.
